    Presentation TemplatesOpen

    Hello,I use Miro for a wide variety of purposes like research, prototype, brainstorming, ideation, flows etc.  Sometimes at the end of the day, I need to make professional presentations. I pay attention to prepare my presentations with a single theme so that they look corporate. I usually use Canva, Power Point, then I upload the screens to Miro. I think that doing this process directly in Miro, not using a few programs, will handy and save our time. Also, we can edit it the way we want in our board. There may be categories such as health, informatics, VR, education, shopping etc. with related our presentation topics. When we use themes, we can make more corporate and professional presentations that are the same size, dealing with typography rules, have titles, subtitles and harmonious color tones. Thank youBest RegardsÖzge

    A toggle to set permanent starting view for all usersOpen

    Hey,in my team we love using Miro to structure our work. Recently we created a workboard from which we can navigate to other boards related to a specific topic instead of cramping everything onto one board.When we discovered the set start view we noticed the function only working for new users on the board. Everyone else starts where they left the board previously. We want to have this specific starting view whenever we open the board to show us what we want to work on today. Should be an easy implementation of a toggle I think, maybe something like “set as permanent starting view” Cheers :)

    Move a board directly onto a project in another teamOpen

    I setup a team to better manage boards with sensitive information on them and move those boards out of our more general team since it’s already happened a couple of times where a person has accidentally shared a board or project with the entire company.While the new team has restricted membership, some of those members should not have access to information on some of the boards so I need to get the board into the proper project without first making them generally available. It would be very helpful if Miro offered a way to move a board directly onto a project on another team.It would be even more helpful if I could just move an entire project onto a new team.

    Stop creating a desktop shortcutOpen

    Every time Miro desktop updates, which is all the time, it recreates the desktop shortcut.STOP ITI deleted it for a reason, if I wanted it I’d create one or leave it there FROM THE FIRST TIME.

    Miro Assist - Make Frames around uploaded jpgsOpen

    It’s super time consuming to capture comments and feedback that teams have written over uploaded jpgs. (really they are jpgs of a PDF presentation) Would be great to have the assistant be able to draw frames around each uploaded ‘jpg’ so I can download the PDF version for knowledge capture.

    To expand on the functionality demonstrated in Miroversity Live 2024 during the AI for Rapid Discovery session…When using Miro Assist to generate a presentation based off of selected sticky notes (already a really cool feature), it would be even more awesome if Miro Assist could leverage the Brand Kit (if configured) in creating those frames. Save the end user even more time by utilizing the correct font and color palette for their organization.

    Enhance the 'Planner (Program Board)' to view closed sprints in JIRAOpen

    As a user of MIRO and the 'Planner (Program Board)' I would like the option to see my past closed sprints.  My company does quarterly planning using the MIRO 'Planner (Program Board)'.   We also use JIRA with two week sprints.  As part of our MIRO use we put in goals in each sprint in MIRO.  I need to ability to review past sprints with my team.  See what tickets where closed and verify if goals where accomplished.  Currently the 'Planner (Program Board)' will NOT show closed sprints.  Once a sprint is closed they are removed from the 'Planner (Program Board)'.  This is not desired as I want to see all sprints in the quarter (open and closed ones).  An option to enable closed sprints is desired in the 'Planner (Program Board)'.

    Save Talktrack video movement in the talktrack!Open

    While creating the Talktrack it is possible to move the video circle on the board, but this movement isn’t saved in the Talktrack.  This would be a great feature so you can move your face to a place on the board and actually point to elements on the board. One of the intro videos actually recorded someone doing this, making me think that is how it worked (but alas it was a video recorded on top of a talktrack playback).  From a usability design perspective it is misleading too - it seems the video circle should be locked while recording so that it doesn’t deceive you into thinking that these movements are part of the talktrack.

    Talktrack: Video background effectsOpen

    A couple of our users have complained that they don’t want to use it unless they can obscure their background.I’ve been hunting around for an answer to this. Is it possible to blur the background when recording a Talktrack or somehow change the background colour?

    Roadmap/improvements to Azure CardsOpen

    Are there any plans to improve the Azure Cards integration with Azure DevOps? The Jira integration is clearly a bit more complete at this time. I’d prioritise the missing features as follows: using Azure DevOps Queries to find the cards to import (similar to the way Jira Filters can be used) convert Miro card to Azure DevOps work item inplace editing

    hide/view object context menuOpen

    I checked for this situation, but did not find any reference in the community or help. If I missed it, I apologize. Please point me in the right direction.I know how to use the shift key to hide the object context menu while I am working in Miro. What I would like is a board level option to activate/deactive this menu. (Main Menu > View > Context Menu ON-OFF). I have students come to the whiteboard or computer to work (ordering/moving elements) on the Miro board during class. Of course, when an object is selected the menu pops up and can interfer with the activity.

    "Search Within Boards"Open

    Would the Miro team consider making the “search within boards” function possible for those outside the “Enterprise” plan? I do not need all the features of the Enterprise plan (and the minimum member requirement needed for the plan is too high for my situation), but I could really benefit from being able to search board contents...

    pop-up shape & highlighted words in searchOpen

    I would find it very helpful if it would be possible to click a shape and a pop-up window would show more information on that shape content. Right now the only most similar option is to make a comment in the shape.Also, it would be nice to have words highlighted with search and not just the entire shape. Especially if you have more words in a shape it would be easier to find a certain one.

    Description: Currently after selecting multiple objects, you are only able to filter for one specific type of object (like sticky notes). What I often need is the capability to filter for everything BUT a specific object type (e.g., stickies). This is needed for example to lock everything but sticky notes for creating boards for teaching sessions.Benefits:Ensures seamless layout maintenance during teaching sessions and collaborative projects. Enables educators to securely design teaching materials while promoting interactive engagement with students. Enhances team collaboration by safeguarding critical components while enabling flexible editing of other elements.

    KanBan Swimlane titles should "float" like the column headings.Open

    On any Kanban of significant size, you spend a lot of time scrolling. The floating headers are great as you scroll down. I would love if the swim lane titles did the same thing as you scroll to the right.

    Create Individual Frames from Selected ObjectsOpen

    THE PROBLEMCurrently, its a little time consuming to create individual frames from objects. Our team imports multipage pdfs and extracts them. from there we need to create individual frame so that we can treat them as a slideshow. right now you have to individually select an object and right click, then create frame. THE (POSSIBLE) SOLUTIONjIt would be great to be able to select multiple items shift + drag/command + click and create individual frames from the selection, instead of creating one large frame around all objects.  Also posted this to the community, https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/create-frame-key-command-4773?postid=20004#post20004

    Keep the grouping after the UnlockOpen

    Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but currently when you lock all objects in a frame and then unlock them it automatically removes the groupings from all the objects. Would be nice if it would keep them grouped.

    Planner Swimlanes - Ability to select data subsetsOpen

    Hi, we love the Planner feature and would like to better use the Swimlanes. Would it be possible to add a Rows option to the selected Swimlane so that we only see the data we need to see.For e.g., if I select the Swimlane for Jira Components, all Jira Components will be displayed, we do not want that, we just want to display Jira cards using certain Components.

    Improve Team Admin functionality to manage team's content and securityOpen

    Hi all,I encountered issues related to managing my team's content and security🚨.I have a team plan and I am a team admin.I am unable to become owner of a project within my team, if someone else created a project.I am unable to create a sharable link with password protection if I am not owner of a board.As team admin I would expect to have full control over all boards/projects, as well as hidden boards/projects, even if I'm not listed as owner.     Diversity in IconFinderOpen

    So, I’m working on a project and started using IconFinder. The majority of icons for people I found feature skintones typically associated with Caucasians. There is almost no diversity in color or hairstyles. Also, when I searched for “Family” it was all white, heterosexual couples. In 2020, this is unacceptable! Come on, Miro, let’s add some diversity to the IconFinder!

    Make sticky notes feel more "sticky"Open

    As of what i’ve seen of miro so far, there isn’t really an difference between sticky notes and normal text boxes. In fact, the notes often feel more limited as they have less personalization options than normal text boxes.I think it’d be much more fitting for the notes to actually STICK to whatever they are placed on top of, as if that thinga cted as a frame. In short: wherever you place a sticky note on, it would stay on top of it as if it was grouped to it by default.This feature would help make notes differentiate more from normal text boxes and also give it even more of an actual sticky note that stays attached to wherever you put it unless you move the sticky note itself.
