    Hello!One thing I feel like is missing from most whiteboarding is a way to create branching information. This is primarily used in story telling but the concept could be useful in a variety of industries.The main component of this is collapsible cards that expand in canvas to reveal more information and can then be collapsed again. The Main card would have basic information similar to the current cards however it would not be a task it would be more like a collapsible doc that can be expanded or collapsed vs needing to be clicked on to see information inside. This allows for details about a node to be included and hidden as needed. This should also include the ability to have rich text and images. While intended for branching stories, this could easily help add context to diagrams for any industry.

    Move "Unlock All" away from "Paste" in the drop down to avoid big miss clicksOpen

    I host workshops with a hundred or so folks on a regular basis. It’s REALLY easy for someone to accidentally unlock huge swaths of the board by accidentally hitting “unlock all” when meaning to hit paste in the right click pop-up menu.I try to mitigate it by owner locking most things, but not everyone I work with is as rigorous. They may only do an initial lock that allows anyone to unlock. So we end up with random flying unlocked elements almost every large workshop because it’s apparently shockingly easy to miss-click when going to paste.

    Export Mind Map as Hierarchy in CSVOpen

    Currently, when exporting a Mind Map to CSV, Miro generates a flat list. I want to export my Mind Map as a hierchy so that I can load the data into a spreadsheet or Word doc to make other notations or edits.    Here’s an example.  My simple Mind Map:     Exports to CSV as a Flat list, even worse, there doesn’t seem to be an order to the items in the list.    I want Miro to export my Mind Map as a table that shows the hierarchy of the map, as shown below:

    Ability to filter rows in gridsOpen

    It would be really useful to be able to filter grids in the same way as you can filter a table in Excel, so for example I have an action planner with a Completed (yes/no) column and for clarity when running a workshop to be able to filter out rows marked as complete without deleting them.Not vital but it would be a nice to have!

    The new Timeline component is very promising, but here are some additional features needed:Ability to show quarters and months in addition to days and weeks; timeline becomes hard to view when you have more than a few months Ability to add milestones Additional colors Increase font size of item labels Ability to drag Jira cards onto the timeline Ability to show dependencies between items Ability to quickly edit dates for items (right now you can only drag and drop, which is tedious

    USM and Kanban: export to CSV in order?Open

    I love me some USM on Miro. Every now and then, I need to export the board to simple text. The export feature does what it says on the tin, but it would be nice if it could export it in a structured way. Not just a long list of texts. Maybe different columns for each column..?

    Can guests users access apps which are not published to the marketplace yet?Open

    I created apps which I want to use during my workshops sessions.The participants are not part of my team or even registered miro users; they are “just” guests.It is possible to grant them access to my app?If not, then I make this a feature request ;-)

    Scrollable FramesOpen

    Having scrollable frames would be so helpful for formatting boards that have a lot of information but still need to be readable while zoomed out. Frames could be locked into a certain size and then any text, images, etc, that are placed outside of their field would cause a scroll bar to appear, allowing the user to scroll through the frame and reveal that information.

    Timeline - Drag records and groups across multiple timeline widgetsOpen

    Timeline feature is great. Saw quite a few people asking for the ability to filter by month, quarter, and year and at least one person wanting the ability to drag and drop groups into different orders (not just the records). My wish list idea is related to these, but slightly different. I think it would be awesome to allow you to drag and drop records/groups between different instances of the Timeline widget. That way I could potentially create a a Timeline for each quarter in the year, and drag and drop records or groups between the two as necessary. Allows you to organize the Timelines however you’d like visually as well, potentially all four quarters stacked vertically or something like 1 and 2 on top of 3 and 4 (rather than just left to right across time).

    Azure Cards: link miro board to DevOps projectOpen

    We are not able to use Azure Cards because of the requirement to link a single Azure DevOps organization to a Miro Team. It would be better if we could link an Azure DevOps organization or project directly to a Miro board. The issue is with the way my company set up Miro (which they are not going to change). I work for a division of a business unit that is owned by a parent company. In Miro, the parent company is set as the Miro organization, and our business unit is set as the Miro team. The parent company will not allow multiple teams per business unit. Each business unit gets one Miro Team. The problem comes from the fact that each division of a business unit can have one or more Azure DevOps organizations. In our case, one division linked one of their DevOps organizations to our one Miro Team account and now the rest of our divisions can't link to their DevOps organization and see their DevOps projects. We can only see projects from the one division.We need a different way to link Azure DevOps organization/project directly to a Miro Board or be allowed to link multiple Azure organizations to a single Miro team.

    Hide and reveal elements at different zoom levelsOpen

    Sometimes I’m creating complicated diagrams or infographics that span many systems. In many cases I want to be able to effectively present the full diagram in a zoomed out state, then zoom in on a specific region where I have a lot of much smaller, more detailed content related to that specific area on my board.  The problem arises when a lot of small, unreadable content becomes visually distracting when you are zoomed out at the overall system-level. It’s still there, taking up space, but serving only to deter focus from the elements you’re actually talking about. My suggestion would be to have a frame-level option to hide content at a certain threshold of zoom-out. You could even add some kind of little indicators that show there’s “deeper” content there if you zoom in, rather than show the content itself. Figuring out the right threshold for each component will be tricky, but I think it’s doable. Some things (like images with embedded text) will probably never be perfect, but that’s probably manageable by the set of creators who would be using this feature. Am I on an island? Anyone else out there who would use this? Is it actually already possible and I’m off my rocker? DA

    add the ability to zoom in infinitely, this would not only attract many people it would actually make the app more interesting because you can zoom in to your work without worrying about making it bigger

    Would love the ability to number sticky notes to be able to:reference them in other documentation associate various sticky notes (the details) to a higher-level finding when using Miro to compile research data.   search by number (when referring people to a given sticky note): “Look at this board and read the issue summary and quote associated with sticky 30”

    Board Count on Active User ViewOpen

    When you view the active users in the settings, you see a team count per user, but you don’t see a board count. It would be good to display a count of boards that user is the owner of, as this will help manage which users do not need a full license and those that can be on a free restricted license as they have no boards.

    Miro right now supports a General Note on the level of the board  But often we want to refer to a specific node (mindmap or graph etc) Sticky Notes are too large and obstructing , I want to hide the note, the sticky note is also limited in its characters by design. I often find myself using comments, but comments are somewhat temporal and people could resolve them by accident, they’re not concert records. We need a way to create notes associated with the nodes (that we maybe can comment on and have a discussion)    One proposed manifestation of this UX would be like the comment tool I would start a Note (like the note in beta on the side) and document my explenation. I expect my comments to show up in the comments tab I expect my note to maybe show up in the notes tab (linked to the place it’s been attached too, like comments)

    Add Excel-like pop-up note to a node.Open

    As fleshed out as a mind map can get, sometimes you just want to associate a hidden note to a node, like to house an explanation of what the node is.It’s not conceptually hard; just add an Excel-like popup note to a node. It can be as simple as modifying your sticky notes assets as a new class that shows and hides on click or hover. DON’T cover the screen with  fixed-sized icons. Just add a scaling dot or some notation that there is an associated note hiding in the node. See Excel notes as the example.

    Add reference number to shape or note objectOpen

    In order to cross reference steps in a journey map or ideas on a board to other materials (google doc, spreadsheet, figma file, etc.) It would be helpful if there was an easy way to assign a unique number to an object (card, shape, sticky, etc). This could show up like a tag type or page number and be displayed similarly to how authors are displayed. For example, if a journey map had a box showing the step Log in, It could be numbered A.1 - Then if there is a spreadsheet or design file, There would be a precise way to track it, even if the language changed (such as from Log-in to Authenticate) or if there were multiple “steps” with the same name in different phases.
