    Add feature to allow quick 'pushing' of all objects on a diagram (left, right, up, down)Open

    I’ve used a couple of diagramming tools that have this feature and I always miss it when I’m using Miro. I’d absolutely love to see this one added.Lucidchart has this feature however it doesn’t seem to appear in their keyboard short-cuts or help.To use this feature, first hold down the 'Shift' key. Then, right-click and drag your mouse in the direction you want to move objects. As you drag, Lucidchart creates an invisible line at your cursor's location. Objects on one side of this line will move in the direction you drag, either horizontally or vertically. This enables you to quickly make space within your diagram by pushing adjacent objects away from the point where you are dragging, without the need to individually select and move each object.If the point you choose intersects with resizable objects, they will be resized in the direction you move the mouse.It’s a great time saver and I find it tends to reduce the break in rhythm when running a workshop or collaborative diagramming session than having to select items and then move them.

    Service Now Integration - reclaim by moving user from paid to free licenseOpen

    Hi,We have manged to successfully integrate Miro with Service Now.One issue we think we found but would be a great feature is when you have a removal candidates where a Miro user has not used Miro for over 90 days you click on the Reclaim button in SAM Pro in Service Now, this will initiate moving the users  from Active to Inactive in Miro Portal.Why can we not have a feature where instead of moving the user to inactive and removing their paid full license we just downgrade them to a free miro license so they can at least view their boards.ThanksNeena

    Import Keynote/PowerPoint assets into Miro and publish back after editingOpen

    Today Miro allows importing PowerPoint slides into Miro as an image. However there are components within my Keynote that I want persisted when importing into Miro so that I can continue editing it in Miro.Once done, I would like to publish it back to Keynote, again in editable format.

    We’d love to have the ability to add your own custom Thumbnails to the Thumbnail default menu. Right now, we duplicate the client original board to be able to keep the OG Thumbnail we used, but we don’t need the content from the original board

    Show respectively select specific undo action from actions history before execution the undoOpen

    I would like to see a history list for the undo feature, in which I can see which change it is before the respective undo action.Alternatively, visual feedback would also be helpful, in which the area of the board affected by the undo action is brought into focus.Currently, you can't see on a larger board which change is being reverted at all, because this is often outside the area just shown.

    Bug with the pen tool stuck to navigate arrowsOpen

    When I use the pen tool and try to navigate with the arrow keys, it gets stuck on the left vertical toolbar and is annoying. Please fix this!    Cannot move using arrows keys!!!It is annoying!!!!

    Named board versionsOpen

    Board history is helpful, but then I have to make a note of the timestamp of specific revisions, or it becomes impractical to separate important changes from small tweaks.Given that there is board history, it would be helpful to add a label (equivalent to a Git tag) to a history timestamp.As a story:As a user, I’d like to be able to use a memorable name for the version of a board so that I can more easily get go back a version used for a ritual or distinguish a significant milestone from simple changes.

    Option to disable copy locked itemOpen

    Working with locked item works very well in the aspect that the participants cant edit the predefined boards.But the participant sometimes (especially the not so technical) makes copies of/duplicates all the boards by misstake. This leads a headache for us that leads the workshops in cleaning it up and other participants sometimes starts using the new copy.It would very useful to add an option when locking items that they cannot be copied or duplicated.  Tanks for a great product/Martin

    Dutch language settingOpen

    As a Dutch company, I would suggest you launch Dutch (language setting) or introduce an AI tool to do spell checks in Dutch on Miro boards… Thanks!

    I would like to use the template, but if I can't list any information about the items, it doesn't make sense to me. Then I have to maintain responsibilities and detailed information in parallel.Thanks Peggy

    Deleting multiple boards at once - board managementOpen

    As simple as title says. I need to create dozens of boards and then to delete them when semester ends. It would take hours to do this one board by one with confirm for each one. Until I get solution for it, all my old boards will be dead weight on the miro servers. I am not alone, whole community struggle with managing big amount of boards, and if devs seek for reason to make this idea real ASAP - great amount of free space on company servers is good enough one imho.

    Presentation of selected framesOpen

    My Miro board has about 100 frames. For a presentation, I would like to be able to select individual slides without having to rearrange them. In the presentation bar it should appear “Frame 1/20” instead of “Frame 1/100”.

    Boards living in multiple spacesOpen

    Can we have the ability to have live boards living in multiple spaces? Different from duplicating a board. The original board, maintained and updated by the author, but having the ability for the shared users to organize them in their spaces, separate from the original author.

    Option to Change Board Background Color for Individual Users Only (Dark Mode and Custom Backgrounds)Open

    I use Miro to collaborate on projects and share ideas with my team. However, I find it challenging with the current color scheme, especially in low-light environments or during extended use sessions, where a dark mode or customizable background color could be very beneficial.A possible solution would be:Add a setting in Board Settings that allows individual users to change the board background color just for themselves, without affecting the visual experience for other collaborators on the board. Additionally, including a "Dark Mode" option would be excellent for those who prefer working with a color scheme that's easier on the eyes.

    TImeline - adding months and milestonesDuplicate Idea (closed)

    It would be useful to be able to represent a plan in Timeline that can be delineated by months. The current functionality means a timeline over several months doesn’t fit on the screen and isn’t very usable in online meetings.  In addition, the ability to add a milestone as well as a task would be useful. The tool can be used to plan and present the high-level view of a project plan.

    Timeline interactive widget: Change the date format to yyyy-mm-ddOpen

    Because date formats don’t already spark enough debate, I’ll share my thoughts on the date format of the new Timeline widget: I am confused and saddened by this. Miro already used yyyy-mm-dd with Cards, and that was the only other native Miro object with a structured date field. So, there was only one format, but now there are two.And on top of that, the date format is more ambiguous as mm.dd.yyyy commonly used, so now extra cognitive load by forcing the user to have to question the date format (with yyyy-mm-dd, there should be less-to-no questioning as yyyy-mm-dd is not a standard date format).On top of all of this, there is no placeholder text for the date field, nor any sort of help text to indicate the format that is being displayed, e.g.:is 05.03.2024 May 3 or March 5?As per the title of this wish list post, please change the Timeline widget’s date fields to yyyy-mm-dd, i.e., consistent with Cards.

    Is there a way to disable automated Miro Board Thumbnail icons / clip art?Open

     Does anyone know if there is a way to permanently disable auto populating Miro board thumbnails with clip art?This is a fairly new feature and It’s not working for me. The icons are childish, IMO, and the icons have zero relevance to content and therefore aren’t helpful. I would prefer the legacy generic soft gray placeholder thumbnails to the new icons. Also, it’s an extra step now for me because I have to manually remove or replace these with the old icons every time I create a new board—until I’m ready to create a meaningful content capture image. If turning off this feature is not doable, I recommend to Miro team to review this feature and find out if customers actually wanted this feature in the first place.  Thanks, M. Boards with auto-filled thumbnail icons (current Miro default)Boards with placeholder thumbnail icons (legacy Miro default)

    Inhibitory Arrow - Biological PathwayOpen

    Would it be possible to add a simple “T”-shaped arrow head ?It is a very common sign in the biological sciences to indicate a negative interaction between two entities.For brainstorming it would help me - and probably others in this field - a lot.A similar sign exists already, but I find it irritating to use (it looks like a cross).I would really appreciate it to add this simple arrow head to the tools.Thank you very much!I really love the app so far!

    Fit to screen for Confluence EmbedOpen

    Provide an option to fit to screen or fit to macro and remove the board title and modification note for the selected frame/board embedded in Confluence so there is not such a large border of the gridline background.It eats up a lot of real estate that could be used for other purposes on a Confluence page.EXAMPLE: The image below is a screenshot from a Miro board embedded on a confluence page. I don’t need to see the gridlines or the board name.

    Link frames between boardsOpen

    It would be nice to have a feature where Frames could be linked between boards.For example our company has different product teams each with their own boards while we work through ideas and capture detailed information.  For big presentations we create a combined board with the final designs from all teams.  To do that we copy over some of the frames on the individual team boards to the combined presentation board. After the presentation there are usually followup board edits, so then we have to make the updates in 2 boards, on the individual team boards as well as the combined presentation board.  It would be nice if we could make the update to a frame in one board, and it would automatically make the update in the linked frame on another board, to make everything more efficient and accurate.

    Extract Pages and automatically create framesOpen

    I would like to bring in PPTX and PDF documents into Miro and then use Miro’s collaboration tools for presentations and gaining feedback.  Some of these documents can get quite large (many pages).I love the ability to extract pages from imported documents, but it would be awesome if Miro would automatically create a frame around each extracted page and group the frame and page together.This would provide near-instant ability to present the imported content.It would drive an easy use case to import and begin to leverage Miro for traditional PowerPoint users.It would increase Miro’s user base inside major corporations locked into the PowerPoint ecosystem.
