    Hi,  The ability to create high level timeline in the BETA tiemline using Months and moving between days, weeks, months, and quarters would be useful. At the moment I think there is only a day/week option. Monthly would be extremely helpful.

    Ich möchte die Größe eines Objekts für andere Objekte übernehmen. Leider habe ich dazu keine Möglichkeit gefunden. Ich würde mir wünschen, die Größe ähnlich wie den Stil von einem Objekt auf das Andere zu übernehmen.Alternativ habe ich versucht Eingabefelder zu finden, um für Objekte die Abmessungen direkt einzugeben. Dazu habe ich zunächst unter "Ansicht" "Objektabmessungen" aktiviert. Leider finde ich bei einem oder mehreren markieren Objekten nicht die Möglichkeit über die Werkzeugleiste die Abmessungen direkt einzugeben. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn Sie mir eine Lösung anbieten können.

    Highlighting words in searchOpen

    I use Miro board to have some notes for the course I’m taking now. There is a lot of text. And sometimes I search for specific words and collocations. And when the system finds them it shows only the textbox without highlighting the word. That’s very inconvenient, because I need to re-read the whole page of the text to find the needed part. That would be great if the seach of the word leads directly to the word and highlight it as in most of the programs.

    Display WSJF field in Miro PlannerOpen

    I would like to see on Jira tickets (from MIRO Planner) the value of WSJF.The fields used to calculate the value for WSJF are available (User Business Value, Job Size, RROE, Time Criticality) hence also the WSJF should be.Use Case : MIRO Planner used for feature prioritization and WSJF is the key criteria used in this case. Thank you

    Easier way to set board thumbnail: Select a frame and be able to "Set as board thumbnail"Open

    ​​​​​​Instead of clicking on the board title, and then the “Change thumbnail”, it would be way easier if you could select a frame, and in the frame’s overflow menu, choose “Set as board thumbnail”.

    Link previews to other boards should update title + cover image if changedOpen

    Currently if you paste a link to another board it creates a really nice preview link / card (not sure of the official component name, but I love it!!)However if I make updates to the linked board - such as title or cover image - the details don't update in the preview card, including the date stamp of last modified.Would expect that the information shown on the preview link (such as title, cover image and last modified time stamp) reflect any changes that have been made whenever you refresh the board that contains the links.Thanks!

    Talktrack should understand navigation to a FrameOpen

    If you navigate to a Frame while recording a Talktrack, the Talktrack should be able to scroll to that Frame even if the frame has been moved to a different location since the recording was made.This would make Talktracks longer-lived and less fragile. It would especially make it easier to create Talktracks about a specific Frame which will “travel with” that Frame for its whole lifetime.

    Including PlantUML diagramsOpen

    In PlantUML, you can reference other PlantUML diagrams via the !include command.See https://plantuml.com/sources for more details. In Miro at the moment, while you can define a diagram’s title in Miro by adding a name after @startuml (for example @startuml SysFutureState) , this is not the name of the file that gets created (is there a way to know the filename that gets created?). Every diagram gets given the name image.svg, even if you set this title. If you try to !include SysFutureState (or !include SysFutureState!0) in another PlantUML diagram on the same board, it will not find the file. I’m certainly not advocating for Miro to reveal it’s filesystem inner workings here, but if there was some way to reference other PlantUML diagrams you’ve defined in your board, this would mean that you could define a diagram once, import it in other places in your board, and if it was updated, you would simply need to re-render all your other diagrams that reference it.At the moment, the only way to do this would be to copy and paste PlantUML code for your components everywhere where it’s required.

    Image conversion on importOpen

    There is a big gap between what Miro offers and how people behave in the real world. It’s fantastic when everyone is remote but from time to time, or even fairly regularly for some people and teams they meet in person. Miro is not a consideration. What do people use? a white board. A real white board.The difficulty is summarizing these white board sessions and keeping a good record of them. One useful thing about Miro is the ability to return to the virtual white board and edit, add and revisit. So, going back to white boards in the office, a common behavior is a photo is taken of the white board and this is stored in a shared environment. The ideaImport a white board photo - or extend this to any photo containing text (parameters to be determined by yourselves) and convert it to Miro components set up in the way the photo shows it. Convert the image of text into editable text boxes to post it notes. Draw lines and shapes as the image depicts. The problemThese photos are often forgotten, lost or users are manually recreating them in the digital space. Miro has an opportunity to bridge this.

    A way to transfer boards from one Miro team to another + Trace of past user boardsOpen

    In the future, I do think that Miro would benefit from having some sort of trace on the user end as to what boards they’ve been a part of, and a way to 'transfer' boards from one team to their own personal team (which is what I tried (and failed) to do).

    Additional Highlighter coloursOpen

    I would love to have more highlighter colours, eg. a blue, purple, dark green, pink etc. It would help when collaborating with multiple people, doing thematic analysis and checking work. Additionally, it would improve accessibility for those who are colourblind (the yellow and orange can be hard to distinguish). Thanks!

    Document Widget: Insert horizontal line (section breaks) by typing "---" + ENTER.Open

    I’ve been loving the document widget and I’m a big fan of Markdown formatting.  However, I’m repeatedly running into situations where I’d love to insert section breaks or add horizontal lines.  In other programs that use Markdown, this is usually accomplished by typing "---" and pressing the ENTER key.Make it happen, people.  I’ll send you a box of chocolates.

    Enable mapping/connecting of multi-selected objects.Open

    As a program manager, I need to be able to quickly create relationships to my products so that I can link terms/fields from the order through financial reporting. I recently had to do some product mapping that included single clicks and drags from one object to over 720 objects in a mapping exercise. I was surprised to learn that there was no way to multi-select the objects and create connections to one object. Needless to say, it has taken me more than 3 weeks so far. Since I finished the one-to-720 mapping, I now have to map 720-to-one on the other side of our systems. Please enable multi-select of objects that will allow lines to be created for each object that can be dragged to one object. I could see it being initiated in a couple of ways. One would be to select all the objects and then right click for an option to connect them one to one, OR an option to connect them one to many.

    Text Box - Character Cap CountOpen

    Allow text boxes to contain unlimited characters, not 6000. This is my (and I’m sure other writers’) biggest issue with Miro that’s so scathing that I have to use other software.

    3D Content for MiroOpen

    Many fields using Miro are involved in the creation of 3D content such as industrial designers, artists, architects, etc. Having a way to embed 3D models within a Miro board would be very helpful to many professions. The GLFT format has become more standard for sharing 3D geometry and scenes. It has been described as the “JPEG of 3D” for its efficient and interoperability between platforms. It is open-source: https://www.khronos.org/gltf/ GLTF files are viewable natively in Facebook, Chrome, etc.

    Board items can be exported: but we need the connections to go with them!Users can currently get board items (nodes) as a basic .csv list. This is a good start, but equally important are the connections (edges) between board items (nodes). Add .csv export of object connections [Parent; Child; Label Text].We do a lot of simple network and concept mapping with clients, and in house - we love Miro as a user friendly tool for this, but our efforts are rendered useless when we can’t extract info about connections. We are forced to manually recreate this data.We would like to develop a workflow from Miro, through data sanitisation (excel/python) to our graph database and analytics tools. Right now, the barrier to this is Miro’s lack of connection export. Export options for Miro remain a weak point.💪 Let’s unleash Miro’s data-science capabilities! 💪

    Board Tagging or Multiple categories by boardOpen

    All categorization and organization elements available today for boards are single category (a board lives on a single project and a single team). It would be great to be able to assign multiple categories (we suggest tags as a simple and easy to use element) to boards and then be able to filter or search based on them. This is equivalent to the folder directory proposed, but I think it’s more modern and straight forward for a cleaner UI.

    I’d like a way to view uploaded files details, in particular their size, without having to download each one to figure it out.My graphic design courses use Miro to share and critique each other’s work, which is super handy because the classes are all done through Zoom. As the semester goes on, our boards get massive from the PDFs and images of everyone’s progress. We end up unable to use Miro during class because it takes forever to load and will affect Zoom’s quality. We have share our screens instead to view the all the files, losing the convenience of easily seeing how our work has changed from last weeks, seeing others mark areas of concern, etc.If there was an option to view a file’s size within Miro, we would be able to easily identify which whose files is taking up so much memory and ask them to reduce and reupload it so we can continue to use Miro smoothly.

    Super simple: Font size within shapeOpen

     I need to be able to have different font sizes and formatting within a single shape. The only work-around is to have multiple shapes with different formatting, then overlay them. It’s such a bad inconvenience that I am starting to investigate changing to a different platform. This was discussed over 2 years ago in a Q&A… and still hasn’t been done! C’mon guys it’s super simple!

    Miro needs a laser pointer tool. Check out how it’s done in the new Canvas app from Vibe. Of course, they’ve been at this for all of a year -- so it may be beyond where Miro is at right now.
