    More Granular Permissions / New Roles for Miro OrganizationsOpen

    Security engineer here. While colaborating with the team responsible for the Miro Organization on my company we encountered an issue: I am tasked with building a Miro App for an integration that requires me to be able to list all members on the Miro Organization through the Miro API (/v2/orgs/{org_id}/members). Nevertheless, If I want to do this I need to be granted Company Admin access, which would in turn allow me to modify anything on the Miro Organization. My proposal is simple: Have more granular permissions or new Admin Role Types that would, uppon being granted to a user of the organization, allow that user to perform Read-Only operations on all resources of the organization. Maybe a Security Audit Role / Read-Only Admin Role just so these kind of list/read operations would be permitted without allowing a user to modify the whole organization.

    Make get organization members return Display Name for each userOpen

    I do not really know why the /v2/orgs/{org_id}/members endpoint does not return the Display Name for every user on the organization, considering that the /v2/boards/{board_id}/members endoint (list members of a board) does. Just thought this feature could be useful, for example when building integrations through apps to manage the users in the Miro Org.

    Release of a board only from certain (set) date/timeOpen

    For workshops (internally or externally) oftentimes you already want to invite people beforehand to a board BUT ideally they should not yet see the content. It would be nice - when inviting new people - to set a certain date/time from when the content of the board is shown to invitees (obviously Admin and/or board holder should always see everything). Not suuuuper important but still a very nice to have I think. :)

    Hey team,We absolutely love the work you're doing at Weta Workshop!As part of our workflow, we're finding an increasing need to view and interact with 3D files during meetings. We primarily use Blender and Rhino, so it would be incredibly helpful to have integration with either of those applications—or alternatively, a simple viewer that supports .obj or .fbx files and allows us to rotate, zoom, and inspect models easily.Thanks so much, and keep up the amazing work!

    Ability to view and copy Miro board passwordOpen

    Hello. When you set a password for a Miro board, it is automatically copied to your clipboard for easy sharing. However, if you need to access the password again later, the only option is to reset it and create a new one. This seems like a basic feature that is missing, as most platforms offer the ability to view and copy passwords easily. I noticed that this issue was flagged three years ago, and I'm curious about why the suggested feature hasn't been added yet. Thank you!

    ERD Export to CSV/Excel/Google Sheets the ERD tables.Open

    I work a lot in Miro with ERD’s, since their addition and updated connectors, its been amazing.I would LOVE to be able to export (as an MVP) an ERD shape to CSV. to get the data out. What Would be EVEN BETTER would be to export the whole data model into one excel!

    Please add sync tools across boards 🙏I would like to create content in Board A, copy it to Board B and have them synchronized so if I update that content in Board A it gets automatically updated in Board B. I'd be happy if that was possible using frames for instance.Thanks!

    it takes a little while for slides to embed when adding a URL (understandable, especially if it’s a large slide deck)however it would be nice to have some visual indicator that the slides are getting added, maybe a placeholder rectangle or something

    This observation might be nit-picking. Maybe this platform is not tailored for creating high-level presentations. However, many high-level professionals use this tool in corporate environments, and this bug bothers me.If I create a series of slides, let's suppose they are 1920x1080, and I create a "master" slide and make ten duplicates of it. Then, I turn those into frames. When I run the slide show and page through them using the left/right arrow keys, objects such as the title and other items on the slides shift all over the place from slide to slide.I tested this to make sure I was not accidentally moving things around and created a simple slide, made several duplicates of the slide, and without changing anything about the subsequent slides, the title, logo, background image, and other elements shifted all over the place, by 1-3 pixels as I page from slide to slide.It's very unprofessional when I present something like this to other designers. Anyone who knows Miro will forgive those glitches, as they would also understand the product's limitations. Other presentation tools I've ever used will not cause elements I have placed in the same position from one slide to another to shift around the screen while navigating from slide to slide.Can this be fixed?While I realize Miro is a "whiteboard" and "ideation" tool, it's excellent for creating visualizations and storytelling projects. I wish it were more professional.

    A tool to organise slides order from the board by clicking on framesBeta

    The “auto organize” slides order function is nice but :I’d like to see a tool that when you select it, shows a number “1” next to the mouse cursor and allows me to assign any frame the first place in the slides order. Then when clicked, the number changes to “2”, and so on…A keyboard shortcut could allow to navigate between those numbers next to the cursor to be able to undo or correct those actions.Would make the relashionship between board and slideshow functions of MIRO nmuch more fluid. And would also make a nice array manipulation exercise for the devs ;)Bests,M

    Slide overlay for all slidesExisting Feature (closed)

    Would be nice to be able to set some graphics that will always repeat on all slides once in projection mode. It would act as an overlay on all slides and provide an effortless way to add logo or top and bottom for all slides. For the moment i see no way of achieving this apart from copy/pasting the same graphics on every single frame. Lame 😉

    The Roll Up Cost feature would allow you to assign costs to individual elements (topics) within your visual representation, and then automatically calculate and display the sum of these costs at higher-level topics or branches. This provides a clear overview of the total costs associated with different parts of your project, process, or plan. So, you would be able to flowchart a process and keep a grand total of data like total cost, total time in minutes, total defects, etc. A great feature for quality and cost managers!!

    Using Figma and Figjam sometimes, I got addicted to their “Copy as PNG” feature:I select a few objects (frames, shapes, texts, components, anything...) Right click > Export > Copy as PNG (or cmd+maj+c) Then move to Jira, Confluence, Miro (!), cmd+V Boom, I have an image with transparent background added to them.So easy and efficient.In Miro:Create a frame for I need to be exported (not possible if what I need has several frames by the way) Export the frame as giant JPG Search for the file on my computer Move to the other app Manually add it where I need it to be… Delete tenth of useless jpg files after a few weeks :)Or take a screenshot with a gray background as long as what I need to share is not too big. Please Miro, have a “Copy as PNG” feature.

    Always Display Doc CommentsOpen

    I really think there should be an option to always display comments (on documents within boards specifically). I like the idea of having a commented up doc with a bunch of comment bubbles flying off of it. It might look a little chaotic, but the point would be to be able to see the comments without having to click on the bubbles individually. Could move, resize, or reposition them in canvas space, and they’d always be connected to the words that it was originally attached to.When I’m editing a doc, the feedback, or note, can be important, and the comment indicator, for me, doesn’t call enough attention to itself. Right now, I achieve this functionality in a very janky way by using arrows that point to or from phrases directly on the document, but if I change one word, or shift the doc the whole thing gets messed up, and can be tedious to maintain. This change to make comments visible at all times and I wouldn’t have to do that.I imagine this may not look great for some individuals and how they maintain their boards, but I imagine this alternative functionality could be behind a toggle switch: “leave doc comments open”. This could pair with an additional toggle switch, “leave resolved comments open”. It could be fun to slowly clear the chaos of comments off of a document as they’re resolved in a very gamified fashion, but I could also see it where some people may want the comments always viewable, all the time.

    Android Widgets (Smartphone Widgets)Open

    I think the ultimate way to access a doc would be through a widget on android. Have a quick thought, swipe to a page on your home screen, unload the thought onto the widget, and it syncs with the doc on the board. This would probably be most useful with the regular text based doc, and just having it sync with a doc on your board, but this could probably expand into having a few different widget types that let you access several different doc types.

    Show List of Docs Under Boards in DashboardOpen

    I think it would be really cool if on the board page / home dashboard, there was a dropdown next to my boards that would list doc elements contained within them. For example, clicking on a dropdown button next to “Board” would list “Doc1”, “Doc2”, “Table1”, “Kanban1” Etc. (but with their titles of course). Then when you click the specific docs on this screen (i.e. while looking at board drop down) it could open focus mode of that document or element. If this was implemented, I could see this being greatly beneficial on mobile devices where I just want to make a note or two from a thought on a doc.I also figure the interactivity could be expanded further on the dashboard so that users could easily manipulate the data from the docs, like to duplicate or move them between your boards. If that’s successful, Maybe similar functionality could be brought to frames that show in a dropdown and work similarly to quickly jump to the frame location in the board, or be manipulated (duplicated, moved) into other boards from the dash.

    Convert Estimates on a card/sticky note to story points when converted to JIRA CardsOpen

    When Estimate field is populated on a card or a sticky note & it is converted to JIRA cards - it does not automatically map to story points on JIRA cards. Can we please put this through as an enhancement request?
