I like your new timeline templates. However, the most basic feature of a timeline is the milestone element - an area which I think Miro is lakcing right now.

Two quick suggestions on this:

  1. The “Groups” component is useful, but why exclude “Milestones” from it? As part of a delivery “Group”, I’d like to include work/task items, as well as “Milestones”
  2. Allow users to drag and drop milestones

Hi! I love these interactive timelines. Two thoughts on milestones that would be super helpful for my teams

  1. I would love to be able to assign milestones to specific groups and/or records on a timeline, rather than having them float above. I’m using groups as a project, and each record represents a different stage of the project. Currently, the milestone gets applied above everything, so you don’t really know what project or stage it’s applied to.
  2. It would also be great if we could stack multiple milestones on the same day. Sometimes multiple milestones happen on the same day, and right now I have to merge them into the same milestone, which is especially confusing if they belong to different projects
