    Dyslexic fonts for Flip CardsOpen

    Kia ora team.  I was running a session the other day on how to use the Flip Cards and someone asked if it was going to be possible to change the font on the Flip cards, especially to have one that is more dyslexic friendly.  Thanks for considering.

    MIND MAP - export/import/convert to/from BULLETED LISTSOpen

    It would be useful to be able to convert mind maps back and forth between bulleted lists (with indents) or full-on mind maps.  Being able to edit in either mode would be exceptionally powerful.  Being able to switch dynamically, or to import/export to/from bulleted lists would allow the user to engage with the data according to their preference.  I like mind maps.  My team members prefer the concise bulleted lists.This would also facilitate integration into other products in a more elegant fashion.  Imagine being able to grab a massive bulleted list from WORD and drop it into MIRO as a mind map.  Mind blowing!

    Hi,   Are you able to import data from a spreadsheet into a mind map? for example if the spreadsheet was construct in such a way that each cell could create a new child node?   Also if this data was in excel online or google sheets, could this auto update?

    Expand/ collapse user story map cardsOpen

    Hello Miro team! First of all, let me tell you I LOVE LOVE LOVE the bi-directional JIRA connection, especially in combination with the user story map template. It provides a great overview of all the things that need to be done and is always up-to-date!Having said that, what would be even awesomer (haha!) is if there was an option to expand/ collapse all the items in a user story map. I do realize that it can become quite busy, but when I want to review these items with someone, it becomes a bit cumbersome to open each card to see the details. So being able to expand and collapse the details for all cards would be really helpful! If the user story map could then be exported as a PDF, the world would be an even better place! :-) Alternatively, it would at least be a bit better, if the user could hover over an item and see the details without having to open the card - you know, for a quick look. But the above expand/ collapse option would be my preferred solution :-)

    Custom Shape Line connection FIX PLEASEOpen

    When you use custom shapes with shape names (THANK YOU BTW) The line connection connects to the shape and not the words. Left, Right, Top are fine. The bottom is a problem, the Line goes trough the words. I know I can just use Text and group it but that's so much more work. Thank you!

    A text object with Rich Text editorOpen

    Is there a way to include a text object in a Miro board that supports a rich text editor? I am typing this inquiry into a  widget with a rich text editor right now so they clearly have aces to the technology and it seems to me that providing similar capability would have been a no brainer.It would be alternately valuable to know if absence of such a widget for Miro text objects is an oversight or deliberate business decision by Miro to focus the product toward certain specific uses. Does anyone know how one would go about finding out?

    Reduce selection errors - moving a frame when trying to select objectsOpen

    I personally make this error multiple times per session. I want to click and drag to select multiple objects, but I end up moving the entire frame, because I am zoomed in and cannot see that it’s selected. I have also renamed frames “t” or “v” or “n” trying to select a different tool and not realizing the board is selected. I don’t think I would want a more obvious visual indicator that a board is selected. I think a better solution is adding friction to cut down on accidental errors. If you made board selection a triple click (or 4?) for power users, and have a redundancy built int to the context menu, in addition to the current behavior of selecting the name of the frame, it could be a relatively inexpensive quality of life improvement for many users.

    Mood Board with Extension SupportOpen

    My design team tried to use Miro as our design board, collecting all ideas and material from everywhere. However, we found the current Miro Chrome extension and phone app are still quite limited in relevant functions.It may be my misunderstanding using Miro as design / mood board, but it may be a good idea to collect everything more directly from the web browser. Now it’s through upload, then web clipper, then select after loading. Maybe directly into the board? Or another tab alongside the Note?For more consistent collections, ‘opening with Miro’ on phones? Then directly add to board via Miro app.

    Turn off notifications at board levelOpen

    I create and set up boards for the team but I do not need to receive notifications for those specific boards. Right now, there is only an option to turn off all notifications for all boards in my profile. Can this feature be done at board level so I can better manage my notifications? Thanks!

    Stop being asked to update Miro appOpen

    I use the Miro desktop app on Mac. Often when I launch Miro, I get asked whether I want to relaunch in order to have the new minor version. This is annoying. I can’t find any way to turn this off. I want auto-updates, but I want to restart the program when I was going to do so anyway, not be prompted to do so when I launch the app.Before someone answers “just click no”, let me say, the reason I open Miro is to use an electronic whiteboard, no to perform app updates or read prompts. Sounds obvious, but kinda relevant.BTW: Psychologically this is not good for the Product. Slowly I am starting to associate opening Miro with being annoyed.If you are concerned that people won’t do updates if you don’t prompt them, then associate a delay with the prompt - eg: if new version not installed for over a week, then prompt.

    Timeline - export of dataOpen

    The new Timeline feature is great to produce roadmaps and I love the customisability. However, currently I can’t find a good way to extract that data from Miro - Even in the table view I can’t export it (and copy & paste into excel does not yield the expected result either). My m,otivation for extracting it is for reporting purposes. We do use PowerBi reports to collate multipple roadmaps etc. A lot of teams currently use Sharepoint lists (and powerBi reports) where I think the Timeline feature would be a much better solution for collaboration (but the reporting functionality is limiting it) The export would enable that it could be fed into PowerBI or slide decks with any required formatting/editing that may be required.

    Visual thinkers need visual processesOpen

    It would be so much nicer to have this integrated with hardware, a large (MASSIVE, like a whole wall) touch or sensor-activated screen with AI compatibility and voice input. That way we could move things around visually (by touch/gestures, so literally moving) much faster and be able to communicate verbally to make edits, so “envisioning” between brain and board more efficiently, and potentially more creatively too if the AI-tool could start to “understand” and draw and write what the user describes. Especially useful for neurodivergent folks with fragmented/parallel thought trains.

    More options for privacyOpen

    I suggest expanding the privacy options on the board. Access rights not only at the board level and zoning on the board itself. There are common boards of the company board, but employees of different levels should see different data, and managers more data. As a result, you need to multiply a mountain of boards and drag and duplicate a lot of information, and in case of editing, change it for everyone (too much work). Private zones (roughly speaking, a frame in which information is visible only to added employees).What other advantages?During training or meetings, you can keep personal files in a hidden area.You can also make separate privacy for layers.

    Have a Date Countdown FeatureOpen

    I suggested a brainstorm tasks to a team where, anytime each person wants, they could go to miro and add an idea. This has a due date, and would be nice to have countdown on the corner. Like Timer but for longer times.Similar to want conferences and music events do on their websites.

    Clear Content and or Formatting on ObjectsDelivered

    I regularly have structured objects (shapes and sticky notes) with text already in them. I would like to be able to keep that structure but clear it for re-use. This may be useful to re-use a workshop that wasn’t created from a template or use something that was created on the fly without planning for future use.Additionally, being able to clear the formatting of an object would be useful, resetting a sticky note back to default yellow, plain black text, and medium size.The feature could be accessed through right-click, or an eraser icon on the contextual menu allowing the user to clear content or formatting, or both.

    View all stickies with a tagOpen

    As a researcher, I tag many things with “pain point” and “wish list” as I analyze my data. At the end of the process, I want to be able to pull all sticky notes tagged “pain point” into one view, and all tagged “wish list” in another view.  Right now, Miro only lets me search for tags. I then have to jump to each sticky note, copy it, paste it on another part of the board where I’m manually aggregating it, then do it all over again. As I paste the items, the search field then contains duplicates.  It would be great for Miro to pull a copy of all tags into clusters, while maintaining their original location as well.

    Trello Cards in MiroOpen

Unfortunately still very incomplete, including:* I have different Trello boards - new items from Miro are simply created into any board. I would like to choose which board these should flow into* Selecting Trello cards to embed in Miro should include filtering by Trello boards* Using Trello cards in the timeline/table view works poorly: card name is routed to ID, almost all fields cannot be edited* It should be possible to create comments on cards; agreements, etc. are usually not entered in the description* Start date and due date should be editable* etc.very good idea, but to use it properly, a few more features should be added.

    Hey people ! This is more like requests what i’m posting here, but i don’t want to contact directly by mail for these requests. First : I’m a student programming and i use a lot of mindmap in my projects organization. I think it could be usefull for programmers like me to include small part of code with a colored synthax like this : int main(int argc, char **argv){ printf("hello world !"); return(42);} Second : I love dark modes and i think they are more and more important for users theses days. I don’t found it so i think there isn’t this feature. I know it’s a ton of work in UI perspective but it’s a really worth of users comfort.     OCR (Text Recognition)Open

    Wondering if the Miro team has given any thought to the idea of text recognition for .pdfs added to boards? The search feature of Miro, combined with OCR, would be amazing (assuming it is possible.) I’m able to search using text recognition in Google Drive and I get pretty great results. My use case would be: Searching street names on .pdf maps I have uploaded onto Miro Boards.
