I have a cool idea as i see my colleagues dragging things around the huge miro board.

Have a jump point, so you set a shortcut key, to an area on the board.

So if i am collecting the items together, from a big collection of notes, and i want to organise them. I can set different points on the board that i can jump to, by using a shortcut key. so i grab something, hit the shortcut key, and my cursor is now still holding the item, and is hovering over the jump point that i set.

Know this is an older post @Torquil Harkness , and I see we still don’t have anything like this in Miro yet - but I was also getting tired going back and forth between board positions.

Made a Miro app for these jump points - which allows you to quickly add jump points to different areas on the board. It doesn’t have shortcut keys like you wanted (I couldn’t get the shortcuts keys to work reliably without interfering with browser controls), but it does keep it nicely outlined in the left app interface.

Saving me a ton of time going back and forth across different places or objects in the board.

Hope this helps if anyone else is looking for this kind of functionality: https://miro.com/app-install/?response_type=code&client_id=3458764647261869483&redirect_uri=%2Fapp-install%2Fconfirm%2F
