    Hi, I have recently introduced my team to the wonders of Miro, and so far, so good. A large part of our work involves video conferencing whilst working collaboratively on a project, and the video feature works well for this although we have a couple of suggestions. When initiating the video call, the video symbol that notifys other users that a video call is happening (at the bottom of the screen) is VERY subtle and more often than not, team members will miss this. We then have to either use large post-it’s on the board saying ‘JOIN VIDEO CALL’ or annoyingly send them a text message. It would be good to see a pop-up message that clearly notifys people that a call has started which urges them to join. Also, It would be great if a user could be able to ‘nudge’ or ‘invite’ another user to join the call which results in a similar pop-up message.   If this is already a feature, and i need to turn it on then apologies. But otherwise, would be great to see these changes implemented. Dan.

    Please add the ability to search by ID number in the Azure integration.Open

    When setting up a board we typically have a list of items to add to MIRO from ADO.  Searching by the ID number would make the initial setup of the board much quicker.

    Personal plan (without sharing feature)Open

    I don't want sharing feature. I honestly think $15 a month for personal use is expensive. It's such a good tool, but it's hard to reach. I wonder if you could consider a more personal plan. For example, six dollars a month… I need only the Infinity boards feature with Free plan.

    Assign Lifecycle to FramesOpen

    In the Office we have major issues keeping track of Content, so much so that we end up exporting PDFs and abandoning Boards after a Project/Product is completed.  But this makes going back and retrieving information difficult/impossible.  Even during heavy usage of Miro it is hard to keep track of what is relevant or what has been abandoned.  There are many workarounds, trust me we have explored many of them, but I feel the implementation of “Special Frames” where Change Management can be applied would all but eliminate the issues I described in a clean transparent manner. I envision that the Frame can be prescribed a Lifecycle which could be defined at a Global Level to be various states: Draft - Allows anyone/all to make changes, Review - Allows adding/commenting but not changes to existing content, and then Approved - No more content changes or commenting.  These are only examples, would be great if Company Admins could create their own Lifecycles appropriate to their Teams’ Workflow. I envision Users working on Content and assigning a Lifecycle to the Frame to identify the level of completeness of their ideas. I envision Miro being able to pull Frame Lifecycle Details and post it on a Dashboard as KPIs for Team Leads/Management to see idea status.

    Crumpled stickiesOpen

    It would be nice to have the possibility to crumple stickies and not only to delete them. The crumpled stickies should fall down to the “floor” and lay around until someone “cleans” them up. This would give the user an impression of work-done.

    Confidence levels in MiroOpen

    Hey there!  I use Miro to teach UX/UI live. One of the pain points I find is checking students confidence levels live. It would be super to introduce a confidence range. I’ve added a question to Q&A to learn how teachers / facilitators currently track this from students or guests during classes or workshops.

    Paste board links into Miro desktop appOpen

    We’re all using the app because we can leave multiple boards open in tabs.  Link sharing will only work in browser, so it’s incompatible with the app workflow.  Other apps like Slack are able to open their own apps through a link, and that functionality is definitely needed in Miro. Miro seems designed to minimize the amount of boards, and instead organize lots of info on a single board using frames.  This naturally makes boards slow to load, so having to re-load the board every time someone links to something is a brutal workflow (on top of the fact that you can’t use the app in this workflow at all). As a workaround, if we could copy a link and paste it into the app, and the app would switch to the correct board and jump to the linked object, that would do the trick.  The key is that it shouldn’t need to reload a board that you already have loaded in a tab.  Thanks.

    Is it possible to setup a frame to listen after new Jira issues?Open

    Hi I’m looking for a feature where you can set up a field (for instance a frame) to listen after new jira issues and automatic update the field. My thought is to create several areas where you can see the status for the issues. One area for those in ‘To Do’, one area for those ‘In Progress’ and one area for those that are in ‘Done’. Therefore it is necessary that the field supports JQL.  Do you know if it is a feature that already exists? If it doesn’t, is it a planned feature?   Kind regards Brian Munk Sørensen

    Editable object frame locationOpen

    I would like to be able to move objects between frames by editing a parameter on the object.    Currently, to move an object from one frame to another, you need to drag and drop that object. Which can become tedious and time consuming on your phone.   I would like there to be a ‘frame location’ parameter on the right click menu of any object. Clicking on it would allow the user to change the object’s location to a different frame.

    Hide sticky notes temporarilyOpen

    We sometimes use Miro for retrospectives. We do the collection of cards for retrospectives async so all of the ideas for improvement are submitted in advanced. To ensure we don’t bias one another, we prefer to have the cards hidden until it’s retrospective time. Other dedicated retrospective tools support this use case, but unfortunately this isn’t possible in Miro.

    Is there a way to crop document page after uploading? When i download pdf document and extract pages, sometimes I need only a part of page. It would be good to have an opportunity to crop pages like pictures.

    chrome extension improvementOpen

    Any chance we can please save clippings from the chrome extension to a board rather than a library? that removes one step of processing the clippings as now its a bit cumbersome to clip then have to go to a library and then do another paste action to a board.

    Add text to mindmap edgesOpen

    Mindmaps are a great way to capture all kinds of things; but sometimes I’m forced to introduce a node simply to describe/identify a commonality about everything that may exist from here on out. The same effect could be obtained by labeling the edge instead. This limitation often yields mindmaps that are more extensive than they need to be. I think it would be very useful to add the ability to add text to the edges of a mindmap

    Option to pin app window openOpen

    Currently, when you make a selection from an the app window, a placeholder from the Wireframe app, for example, the window closes after selection. Can a simple, “Keep open” function be added?   Current: Proposed:   The search bar could be expanded when searching.

    Customizable cursorOpen

    When I’m drawing during a screenshare, people get lost when they see lines appear.  I think the following would be amazing.    Allow to customize the icon that appears while drawing. If it could be a hand, so it mimics those explainer videos, that would be really cool. But it would be great if I could upload my own icon or customize it as well.  Allow to change the size of the pointer while drawing. To make it easier to follow my whiteboard videos, it would be great to make it rather large.  Thanks!

    Sorting Custom TemplatesOpen

    I am working with the Shared Custom Templates feature in Miro and can’t seem to find a good way to sort them. By default they seem to be sorted chronologically, but in my case it would be better if I could sort them in an alphanumerical way and maybe even tag them based on the related phase of the design process… In a way that is similar to how Miro clusters it’s own templates.

    Holding Spacebar allows one to move top left corner of a new object during its creationOpen

    When creating a new object by clicking and dragging the cursor from top left to bottom right, holding Spacebar temporarily freezes the size of the object, so when one continues to move the cursor the whole object is moving, thus correcting top left corner position. This feature is used widely in different graphical software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

    Document GuidesOpen

    Would love the ability to create vertical and horizontal guides like Adobe products, but unlike some products, please have the ability to not need to scroll to the top-most or bottom-most of a document to create the guide; simply a left-click option or a keyboard shortcut, to put the guide in place at current object’s outer-most edge.
