    I want the ability to create polygons that allow me to input the number of sides it has. For the most part I just want to be able to create octogons (for stop sign shapes) and hexagons in my flow charts.

    Collate Boards Shared at Board-Level Under the Appropriate Project (Instead of All Boards)Open

    Currently, if a user is given permission to view a BOARD at board-level (i.e. they are not added to the TEAM or PROJECT) this board appears under “All boards” on their dashboard.  This can get cluttered and confusing very quickly.Instead, I suggest that these boards should appear under a PROJECT link on the left hand side, as they would do if the user was given permission at project-level.This is especially useful if multiple boards from the same project are shared with a user as they would then be grouped under the appropriate project link.A workaround would be:Give each user permission at PROJECT level, but make sure all boards in the project have the “Anyone at ___ team” set to “No access”. Individually grant the user access to the desired boards at BOARD level.However, aside from being an additional chunk of work, I cannot do this because adding users at PROJECT level (and thus TEAM, as a project member has to be a team member) gives them access to the names and email addresses of EVERYONE else in that PROJECT and TEAM.I have another idea which addresses preventing the sharing of email addresses with all other PROJECT and TEAM members here: https://community.miro.com/wish-list-32/hide-email-addresses-other-members-for-some-team-members-3222

    Allow a preset list of attendees to be associated with a facilitator and connect to the “bring to me” function so breakout groups can quickly be drawn to the correct frame and facilitator within workshop breakouts on a single board.

    Units of measure to boards (How big is it?)Open

    I was creating a presentation and thought of putting a screenshot of a board I’ve created while doing a product discovery. The board is very long, so I felt it would be cool to show people a bit of the “backstage” work we do. While I was creating, and also thinking about my storytelling, I thought: “And here we have this board with over a kilometer of length”. But the thing is: I don’t really know that haha. It just seems huge, but I don’t have a system of metrics to determine its size. With that in mind, I was wondering that a cool feature would be being able to measure a board. I’m not saying “technical drawing’ wise, just for fun haha. I mean, we could end up a day saying “wow, we did 2 km of work today”. I think it would be fun, and it could actually have a practical use as well.

    Shortcut for text linksOpen

    It would be nice to be able to use the same shortcut for creating links (Cmd+K / Ctrl+K) universally in Miro. The shortcut Cmd+K already works for attaching URLs to an image or an object, but doesn’t yet work when linking out from a selection within a text block. Suggestion: use Cmd+K also for text blocks.   Trigger “insert link” when pressing Cmd/Ctrl+K  The current user flow to create links is tied to moving the cursor and pressing on the “insert link” modal, which becomes tedious when needing to add multiple links.

    Webcam Photo ImportOpen

    I would like my students (who are typically using laptop computers) to be able to make a pen-and-paper sketch/diagram/etc. and then use their webcam to directly take and import a photo of their work into a Miro board.Although it is possible for students to do this by taking a (webcam) photo with another app, saving the photo to their computer, and then uploading the photo from their computer, it would be significantly faster and easier to be able to do this directly.

    Japanese FontsOpen

    I am need Miro to handle Japanese fonts. On my Mac (macOS 10.15.4), I am able to type Japanese fonts in Miro, but the quality of the Japanese font when exporting is very poor. Could you please consider that Miro be able to handle Japanese (and other Asian fonts) in future updates?

    Share boards to view AND copy (not edit)Delivered

    I am regularly creating boards, templates, canvases for industry practitioners to use (mostly readers of my blog).  So far I have been using Google Apps where this is easy, by sharing a link that user can access to VIEW and COPY the document. It would be nice to have a similar feature on Miro, as otherwise Miro is a highly limited walled garden where the community cannot easily exchange templates and boards across organisational boundaries.

    Enable Guests To Copy and Paste In Read Only ModeOpen

    Sometimes I like to create Miro boards to show possible designs and share it with people for feedback. People often want to tweak the design and create their own designs based off of my design. The problem is that if I enable guest users to only view the board they cannot copy and paste into their own boards. I have to allow guest editors to edit the board, but I don’t really want to do that, and someone who gets the link can easily delete the whole board. A simple solution would be to allow copy and paste for guests even in ready only mode. Or, maybe “copy this board” etc.

    Can we get the option to make a subnets inside subnets inside subn… So that we can package networks and be able to see everything easily from a high level view and still be able to go inside each subnet to get into more detail.

    I believe that Miro would be a better note taking tool if hardware pens/stylus devices would automatically select the draw tool when near the screen.This can be seen in comparable web-based tools such as Stormboard or in proper apps such as OneNote.It makes the writing experience less of a hassle and allows the interaction with the board to flow more easily with fingers being used to draw around the canvas and a pen to annotate itAs a bonus, switching to the eraser tool when pushing a button on the stylus would eliminate the need to navigate UI to perform the same action

     Switchable public link sharing, by only a specific board or team (not for the entire organization) I found options but  for the entire company. Limiting access from a link for any guest, but only in the corporate domain?

    Bulk FramesOpen

    Hello,   I was curious if anyone else would find what I’m calling ‘bulk frames’ useful. The idea is if a PDF, PPT, or series of images/content were placed on a board, you could easily add a frame around each with just 1 click vs having to manually make and place a frame around each one at a time. Perhaps this is already a feature I do not know about, but if it isn’t how grand would that be? For someone who uses the ‘Presentation Mode’ all the time, this would save a ton of manual adjustment time, and be quite grand.   Cheers!

    Allow multiple media/attachment upload via mobile phone (Android)Open

    So far, the sticky capture has been wonderful to use. Would appreciate being to multi-select media/device attachments to upload on a Miro board via mobile phone too: extremely useful for phone screenshots.Not sure if the feature is available in iOS, as I’ve only tried using Android. Thanks!

    Text Justification (in ratio) on Lines / PathsOpen

    Just a loose idea while working - it would be so nice to have proportionate, ratio-driven text justification for any text written on a line / path. I wrote a phrase along a straight line and have to eyeball the center point of the line. By ratio-driven, I was thinking how you could justify the text (1/4 of the distance to the right, 2/3 to the left, etc). Could be represented visually as columns.Thanks kindly! Miro is the greatest.

    Collapsible Kanban ColumnsOpen

    ClickUp has this. It is nice because there are steps, something like Waiting, that are necessary but you might not want to see them all the time. It interrupts the flow. When it collapses, it has a number that tells you something is there, but otherwise you are only seeing the flow of the steps without a visual interruption.

    I use SnagIt to get a screenshot and then I simply use Copy & Paste to get the screenshot in Miro. Idealy I don’t want to show the whole screenshot/graphic on my miro board, because it takes up too much space. I would love to “just” have a thumbnail of the graphic, but still have to possibility later to enlarge / see the whole graphic/screenshot (for example by double clicking on the thumbnail).My initial question about this feature: https://community.miro.com/got-a-question-ask-the-community-45/graphic-as-thumbnail-3066

    Enable the Navigation Map when using 'Link to'Open

    On a large canvas the internal Link to feature is very useful but when the Link to dialog box appears the navigation map is disabled. It would be very useful to be able to use this rather than zooming out to get to the target.

    Multi-directional Child Nodes in Mind MapOpen

    It would be great if you could create child nodes in a mind map in both directions from existing child nodes. Currently you can only expand the child nodes out from the central node.

    Lock & Hide Frames via REST APIOpen

    tl;dr: enable setting locked & hidden state on frames through the REST API BackgroundWe run workshops and trainings, usually with about 100 frames/exercises. For every class/workshop, these are copied from a template and there’s usually some manual tweaking to be done by the trainer. I set out to write a simple tool that would unlock & unhide all frames, let the trainer make some tweaks, and then run the tool again to lock (in place) and hide (to prevent peaking ahead) all frames.While hide/unhide can be toggled quickly via the frames panel list view, locking and unlocking takes around 5 seconds per frame, as you have to both click the frame border, long press, and the lock. This adds up very quickly and makes it easier to go with Mural over Miro.Acceptance Criteriaprogrammatically being able to unlock, lock, unhide and hide frames using the REST API

    Bring everyone to THIS POINT ON THE BOARDOpen

    Hi all,The “bring everyone to me” and the “bring to me”-functions are great tools. But often I just want my co-workers or audience to rally to a specific place on the board,… without them following me all the time.  It would be great to have a third option (next to “Bring everyone to me” and “Bring to me”) with witch I can draw everyone to my viewingpoint (just like the other two functions do) but without the continues following of my every next move.Greetz,Paul

    Voting: select frames only.Open

    It seems it is not possible to select “frames” for voting. It would be really useful! I am planning to make a presentation on miro and then asking people to vote for the most relevant slide for their work. But it does not seem to be possible?

    When I work on a section of the board I find it very distracting to see everyone else’s arrow moving around, it would like to not see them when I try and focus.

    Frame-Name on imported slides etcOpen

    Hi Im building some training decks in miro where the backbone is a powerpoint pptx. I have a request (or a “does anyone have a work-around?” or a where is the api documentation? When I import a ppt deck (or pdf) I mostly want to extract the slides and since I’ll later want to navigate to each one with user management ‘follow me’ enabled it would be REALLY great if each extracted slide was in a frame and the frame had slide number and the slide-master’s title shape’s text as the frame’s default name (or 1st 20 chars or… or the chars from first shape with a textrange etc)  Icing on the cake would be if frames were indented as a hierarchy that resets each time a title-slide is encountered    If this would help you too please upvote - I believe that ideas get discussed by the devs when they get 30 votes
