I want to work with many (50-100) different worksheet templates (as one board each) and I want to give access to one client to the whole project. Currently, this is only possible by copy/pasting each individual board and invite a client to each board with one email. As I have more than 50 boards in a business series, thats 50 boards copied and 50 emails send to the same client. Now imagine I have more than 100 clients per month…They will not only think I am nuts but also I would do nothing else all day but copy/pasting boards and invite clients. There needs to be a simple bulk action for that. Copy the whole project with all boards Invite the guests with one email to all boards in this project. Same as you can add team members to a new team project. This should be really easy to do. Ideally this could be automated with a webhook that is triggered by my payment system or at least using Zapier.
IDEA: Notes and text highlights are like to PDF page Hi,I like to take notes/mark on my PDFs. However, when I turn over the page, it is an overlay to the new page. To use Miro as a reader/marking for papers etc, it would be nice if the notes are linked to the page of the pdf. For general notes to that PDF, notes can easily be taken outside the page on the board.Thank you for considering. Best wishes,Larissa
I find myself using Iconfinder all the time, more than things like shapes.Problem: Every time I need to access it, I need to go through multiple steps:click (...) on left toolbar click Iconfinder or use the search to find it search for an icon and add itThen you resize, move the icon, the usual things. Now you need a new icon and have to repeat the above from the top. This becomes a little frustrating over time when you have to do it tens of times during a short Miro session. Solution idea: Could the Iconfinder or any other user chosen often used addon somehow be “pinned” to the screen, or be more readily available in the toolbar just like the default tools, like post it notes and shapes? I believe it would completely fix this problem.
I use LucidChart for diagramming and I really like the ability to right-click and drag my mouse to navigate the canvas. Miro’s Navigation mode selection is a bit confusing in comparison.
TLDR: I wish to have mindmaps autoscale better to the size of the text in them and maybe an option to optimize for height instead of length. (Also pleaseee a background or an outline feature!)Mindmaps are one of the most useful things in miro for me and my team, we are able to quickly jot down tons of information just by using the tab and command enter without having to drag an create new notes, but the scaling on mindmaps is very questionable. My personal mindmap i use for studying has close to 100 nodes and as you go down the branch and add more features… it just gets taller. There’s lots of wasted space inbetween big trees and there’s no way to rescale them to be longer or use up the empty space. More like a flowchart, but with much faster execution time ;D
I typically use the Magic Eraser function in Bazaart and then import it into Miro. I recommending linking the two if possible! Thanks!
Inspired by @RobOK and in direct competition with @Dave Miyamasu’s idea of Right-click and drag mouse for navigating canvas, I would like to see the ability to right-click-and-drag to select multiple items (vs Shift+drag).Really, I will take any right-click-and-drag action as right now nothing happens!
Text on connectors should resize, they don't.I make a flowchart, i’m done and not using it so i want to make it smaller, everything except the text on the connectors resize when i shrink it.See the attached images below
I would love to have a pallet or style matching option in Miro. If i create an arrow, for instance, I’d love to copy the color/ pattern/ design over to other elements with one click. I’m seeing a paint brush feature, that allows you to copy from one section and change the color and design elements on any other are of the board, with one click!
I’d like the ability to PIN an entire Board on the main or “All Boards” page of Miro, so a board that is common to all and referred to often can always be found in the first position on that “all Boards” page. This would help our teams find the common board more quickly, and would eliminate duplicate boards being created if/when people don’t easily find the board they were looking for. Thanks for considering it.
I would really love to have a function which makes it that Board-Users/Viewers can filter what elements they see, e.g. sort of a slider to show connection arrows of only one color (and hide the others) or some MC-boxes to tick so that Users can select if they want to see all frames or just a selection of them. Especially for big and complicated boards with a lot of information I think it would be nice to “filter” the information and the objects that are shown on the board. If there already is a similar function or anyone has an idea of how to realize this, please contact me!
The ability to add a Note to a specific Object within a board. Currently the only option is to add a comment which isn’t practical if you just want to add details about a particular Object. It would be useful if you were able to then turn on Comments or Chat regarding the Note if required so that a discussion regarding a particular process can be documented and then set to Resolve when agreed. It isn’t a huge leap from Comments but it would allow for easier documentation and discussion of specific processes.
There are several enterprises starting to use Miro that require extra security measures (eg. financial). One of the security measures is the ability to restrict file uploads to external sites. Miro is no exception, and it would make it so much easier for financial institutions to adopt Miro if this functionality was available for Enterprise accounts.
It would be great if the logo at the top left of an active board could be ‘right clicked’ so we could open the dashboard in a new tab while keeping the current active board open. Very very small idea I know :D
Tags are great metadata but I find that while they add value to the way I view information, they can be distracting to other users I am presenting to. It would be great to have the ability hide tags from objects.
I often create semi-transparent elements to cover other elements. And one of the frustrations is that when I click on such element, it passes the click through to the elements behind it. So I have no way of selecting transparent elements besides first moving the elements underneath somewhere else. This has been pretty annoying.
