    Vim style acceleration to work at the speed of thoughtOpen

    While visual is great, I want to find a way to create content without the mouse/UI/trackpad paradigm.  As a minimum, to have access to vim style editing for any text, but ideally to apply the vim philosophy to accelerate creation.

    Wacom Pen zoom shortcutOpen

    It would be very helpful if there was a shortcut for zoom in/out with my Wacom pen. In my drawing software I have Ctrl+move pen up/down to zoom in/out. I would love to have this in Miro2nd wish: SHIFT+ move left / right /up /down  to move the canvas instead of switching with letter “V”

    Way to create consistent size post-itsOpen

    The standard post-it sizes typically do not work for us and we end up creating our own sizes. However, I’m having a hard time getting a team of people to use consistent sizing for their post-its. They create them in all different sizes for no reason at all and I end up having to go back and resize a ton of post-its. There should be an easy way to either copy/paste formatting of post-its (e.g. size, color) or create custom sizes so that we can have more consistency in the boards and not waste so much time on tedious tasks like this.

    Cards - more sorting optionsOpen

    I would love to be able to sort between my cards, not only between assigned to me or all cards, but through color code, labels, date most recent to oldest - it would really add to the use and organisation of cards, I think.

    Presentation Mode - Link to other frames should update the number of current frameOpen

    AbstractIt would be great if the number of the currently displayed frame updated as I follow a link to another frame in presentation mode. DemoI start in presentation mode on Frame 1. The rectangle links to Frame 3.​​​​​​When clicking the blue arrow, the view moves to Frame 3. However the number of the current frame at the bottom still shows 1.The problemI would like to offer to skip a few frames in presentation mode and continue from a later frame. However when moving to a later frame, I can’t continue with the arrows at the bottom because it will take me back to a previous frame. The (possible) solutionIf I link to another frame (not another object), it would be great if the number of currently displayed frame would update in presentation mode.

    Lock grid contentOpen

    HiI want to be able to lock a grid AND it’s content (post-its, pictures, etc.), to ensure no changes are made to the grid/table.Explanaition:I often use the Grid/Table object since it’s very useful in many situation, but there is one thing I would like to be able to do:After workshops, I would like to lock all the content within a grid to ensure that people aren’t moving anything by mistake, after the workshop. Think of it as a snapshot of the output of a workshop that you want to keep. Objects outside a grid I can easily lock, and I can also lock a grid/table, which locks the structure of the table (also very useful), but I can’t lock the objects IN the cells of the grid/table. That’s what I want to be able to do.

    Decouple embedding board in collaboartion tooling from public link sharingOpen

    ProblemI want to use the feature of board embedding in MS Teams / Webex, to have a smooth collaboration experience. And I don’t want to force users to sign in when sharing a board throughout the collaboartion tool. Unfortunately due to our company security guidelines we cannot enable public link sharing, which is the basis of board embedding without signing-in. RequestCreate a separate setting to directly configure the security stages for board embedding on company level:Private Anyone can view Anyone can comment  No sign-in required  BackgroundWhen reading through the manuals of board embedding I found the following statement:Password protection is not enforced when embedding a board in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. Instead, we ensure that the sharing links that are created with those integrations cannot be used outside the app (in a web browser or similar). For this reason, live embed integrations already provide an extra security layer, therefore password protection on top of this is not needed. [link] Given the described additional security layer that prevents using the link outside of the application. Why is there the need to couple board embedding with public link sharing?

    Voting - allow selecting locked objectsOpen

    I reported this as a bug but it wasn’t agreed to be one. However, it is a “make it work like it did before the new voting UI” item. I use voting on several boards and the items are locked to avoid them being accidentally changed or moved. In previous versions of voting, that worked fine. It no longer works as of the UI change in voting - all items must be unlocked to be able to be “selected” as part of a voting session.

    Make it easier to share with people outside of your project/organizationOpen

    It would be nice to be able to submit a request to a project/organization admin to add someone instead of being told that I need to find the admin and send the request myself. I’m referring to the flow when a user is sharing a board and the UI gives me the error that the person I am trying to share with is not in the organization/project that the board I’m sharing resides in.

    Sentio VR integration with miro boardOpen

    I would love the integration of Sentio VR in the miro board. As part of my design workflow, I utilize visualization of 360’s during presentation. It will be helpful to create a frame where I can link my sentio vr 360 into the frame and see within the miro board the 360’s I created.  Pablito

    Grid inside a grid cellOpen

    Personally, Grid is my favorite of all Miro features. I would love to have one small tweak to it. When I tried to create or move another grid inside a grid cell, it is showing a warning that it isn’t supported. Can we have a grid inside a grid cell just like shape or other objects? This will make a ton of difference, at least to our team where we brainstorm and write concepts granularity-wise i.e we use zoom as we get deeper into a concept (grid cell).

    Dual-mode layout management on mind mapsOpen

    Auto-layout becomes a burden on large mind maps. It leaves a lot of -sometimes not necessary- empty spaces but worse does not really manages complex mind maps that may not be 100% hierarchical*.While globally the auto-layout makes total sense, there needs to be an option to switch it off… or maybe the auto-layout should not be applied when manually moving a topic but only when a new topic is added to the map. That should be easy to implement.Then, ideally, when creating a new topic, the auto-layout would manage differently the topics you moved manually, by keeping an underlying link with the related/close topics (distance...)Auto-layout will change this, and lots of empty spaces.NopeNope*While my example could have been made through a workflow, mind maps often need complex relationships between items that one needs to optimize on display.

    Hover to reveal stack of stickiesOpen

    How cool would it be if I could draw a box around a group of stickies then click a button to create a “stack” of those. But here’s the really cool part. At any time, I can hover over the stack or maybe click on it and it will “pop out” into a grid of those stickies. When I close that, it goes back to being a stack. A lot of times we group related stickies together “underneath” a sticky that captures the main idea of the bunch to save space and declutter the board. But then someone asks a question related to one of the stickies in the stack and we have to “dig through them” digitally. Would be really cool to be able to see them all without actually moving them, then have them “collapse” back into a stack when we’re done.

    Restoring a board from backup should preserve comment timestampsOpen

    When I perform an “Upload from backup”, i.e. restore a board from a backup, the timestamps on any comments in that backup get reset to the date of the restore.  I would rather that the restore preserve all the original timestamps, so that it functions as a true backup/archive.

    Objects resizing in a single directionOpen

    As a Miro facilitator,I want to change any object size in a single direction (either height or width),so that I will get a better control to manage the objects in the Miro whiteboardAcceptance Criteria:    resize ONLY the width (height will not change) or resize ONLY the height (width will not change)Note: Few objects are working in the above mentioned way, but looking for the same functionality in all objects

    Mind Map - fill in shape colourOpen

    I am new to Miro. I tried the standard Mind Map template. The first node (root), does not allow the colour be filled in. I have to take a colour shape and then put that in the background, but it is a lousy work around…. There are other templates which allow colour full Mindmaps. How can I get it to look like this?  There are not other templates? (This one is from Texttize)

    Loading images according to view positionOpen

    I have a big Miro board with probably around 800 images on it. I can not complain about the general loading speed considering the amount of content.However when I quickly want to check the latest sketches which were uploaded (as jpgs) then I have to wait until the complete board is loaded because it seems to load pictures chronologically according to the upload date. This can take 10-15 minutes until that last picture is visible which I actually want to look at. It would be really great if Miro could recognize where the user is zoomed in and load the pictures around that area first.

    Moving stacked objectsOpen

    It would be very natural when all objects placed inside the bigger one move whenever the bigger moves.I intentionally used “inside” as it is the most common way we think about computer based graphics.However in real world if we place A4 sheet on the table, then put a few stickers (and even non-sticky object), and then move the whole paper - everything on top of it would move.So it would be super cool if this scenario were possible:I put the main object on the board Then set some switch (like “physical stacking” - On) The object might change it’s appearance (like getting some background or material-style shadow) I put some objects on top of it They might get some appearance (like small dash in the corner, or some kind of shadow) Whenever I move the main object - everything moves simultaneously. Subsequently - if there is a stickers with stickers on it on top of the main object - whenever I move that sticker - it takes all “nested” stickers and allows it to move around the main object or outside it (might automatically inherit “physical stacking” setting and keep it it outside).Similar behavior could be implemented for stickers. They are literally stickers - so they should stick to any non-transparent thing, especially to themselves, and move together.Why grouping doesn’t work?Grouping is nice feature, but it requires extra actions. And since it is not possible to interact 100% with grouped objects (like draw connector), I have to ungroup and then group again. Natural physical stacking would work much better.Why framing is not enough?Frames intended for a different thing - present similar objects as a scene. My whish list idea is about having all objects performing similar to physical objects in real world.

    Export to PDF should not include drop shadows or white backgroundOpen

    When I export a frame to PDF, it includes the drop-shadow that is drawn around the outside of the frame. This means I cannot use the image in a document without manually deleting the frame (when I’m making a document, I want the document’s style to control frames around images).Also, the export to PDF would be more useful if it omitted the white background and was instead transparent. This way, when I include the images in documents they won’t block out stuff behind them.

    Tagging of version historyOpen

    It would be great if I can create a board version after certain occasions and name it. For example: we are using miro boards for refinement and drafting feature ideas. If we are able to tag certain milestones we reach on the board this would be great. An in addition these milestones should not vanish after 30 days.
