    Referenceable Indexes for Sticky Notes for UX Research evidence pipelineOpen

    In short, I wish there was a way of referencing sticky notes via a visual unique identifier in other sticky notes. Read on for my explanation of why this would be useful.The sticky note feature is my favourite part of Miro. I love it. It is so intuitive to use for ideation, working with and presenting research, collaborative affinity diagramming, team voting, and so much more. In a short space of time I can take what’s in my head, get it in a visually shareable format and begin refining. I set up my Miro boards as ‘pipelines’ with work in each section feeding into the next section. This is great as it helps me get my thought process on the page and helps me to step through and refine my work and evidence decisions.My wish, therefore, is the ability for sticky notes to have referenceable visual indexes or identifiers that I can use to link to work further down the pipeline. The example being a quote collected during discovery that has a direct impact on an idea or decision made during ideation, prototyping, or implementation. When an idea then comes under scrutiny, my team can then link directly back to the evidence that informed that choice to help collective understanding.  This would be really helpful in tying everything together and letting the pipeline to be bidirectional in travel which would only add to the efficiency of iterations.

    copy as text functions for sticky notesOpen

    It would be great to have the option to select multiple objects and copy the text of these objects in plain text with a CR in between them.This enables you to quickly copy the contents to any other application like word, powerpoint, confluence, etc.This functionality already does exist in competing platforms.     Affiliate links embedded in boards we shareOpen

    I am evaluating Miro. Very exciting software. I am curious about the affiliate program. I want to use Miro as a tool for my consultanting business, but also it presents unique marketing opportunities to use boards to illustrate what I offer. However, if I share a board to attract clients, there is no way to apply my affiliate link. This is unfortunate because using Miro as a way to market would be effective, but not at the expense of losing out on an affiliate opportunity. Applying our affiliate id’s to the links in shared boards would be incredible. Thanks.

    Increase image import sizeOpen

    I regularly use Miro for mapping out website changes I want to make. I’ll take a full-size screenshot of our existing website and try to import it into Miro, but I can’t import the full size image because there is a size limit. As a workaround, I’ve had to split the screenshot into two, then import each piece.

    Planned Account ExpirationOpen

    We would love the ability to set a date for an account to expire. We are a busy consulting company so we constantly have accounts created and deactivated. Adding an expiration date for an account would save our team the hassle of cleaning up access when a project is offboarding.

    Sub-tasks on Kanban?Open

    As a Miro User in my Scrum Master role,I would like to have a Board with tasks and sub-tasksSo that I can track what is done and what is pending for that task in order be able to have a full view of where exactly in its lifecycle the task is. I am wondering is it possible to have a board with tasks and sub-tasks on Miro? Like the one we see on a simple Trello?Often a task involves more than one steps and if we need to track those steps, sub-tasks often come handy - just a simple check list with a functionality of striking the items through to indicate they are done is enough to get the full story.

    Need the option to keep all tabs in memory for Miro desktop applicationOpen

    I keep 10+ Miro boards open at a time, but switching between them in the Miro desktop application is very slow due to frequent reloading of each board, even with an i7 machine with 32Gb ram. I propose adding a setting allowing us to force all tabs’ contents to remain in memory for fast switching. This would enable me to use the actual Miro application instead of keeping all my tabs open in a Firefox window.

    Lock the view of guests or team membersOpen

    Hi, I use Miro as a teacher and tutor. It would be very handy to be able to quickly lock the view of other users so that they can’t pan the board away from a certain spot.

    Why doesn't Miro have Last Activity in SCIM?Open

    I'm a system administrator for an enterprise.I want to get a list of users' usage,but I can't get it because there is no last activity in the SCIM entry.https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036827513-SCIMI think it's easy to add an item to the Active users section of the GUI, because it exists.Please implement it.

    Drawing in presentation modeOpen

    It would be nice to be able to use some basic drawing tools in presentation mode.  Or at least to be able to move nicely through the frames outside of presentation mode.

    Guest or new users are often confused because they don’t see themselves on the board. We have to explain that they are visible with the movement of their cursor. It would be beneficial to see that information when moving around.

    Hi,Could you maybe add following things to “shape”?A solid line, sometime I don’t want to connect other items of my board and I don’t like the courser jump to the next possible connection A custom shape (polygon). Note with this option you would give customers the freedom of choice, maybe I want to build a nice Frame about a special section created on the board which has not the shape of a standard “shape”,

    It would be ideal to have a graphic resource board with everything someone new to Miro needs to know to get going. For a project kickoff for example, I often invite people who never used Miro to my boards, and something like a “everything you need to know to use Miro” board would be really useful.

I would like to use Miro boards as a presentation for many visitors and i want to count unique visitors and total summ of views.This feature needed for understanding the effectiveness of a particular Miro board. I would like to have a dashboard and statistics for my boards (ex. today views, 7 day views, 30d views)If this feature already exists, please link.

    I’m creating stickies using TAB and is generated on the right of the current one most of the time.I’m dragging it down as I want to place it on the vertical axe.I wish next TAB action to generate a sticky at the same distance and same direction as the previous one.Ideally when it detects a frame, would continue in the next empty adjacent sport in the area

    Video calls to be made freeOpen

    We should be able to use video calls on Miro for free, because other crappy call systems on the computer or ipad are really bad, and it’s much more convenient using only one tab than many others.

    Embed a Region in ConfluenceOpen

    I am documenting requirements in Confluence. We have a lot of frames in our Miro project. It would be great if I could zoom into a specific region of the project that was relevant to the requirements that I am documenting. This would be very similar to how the start region currently works; except that I could change it per embed.

    Highlight same-shapes on a board or in a selected area (example: all circles)Open

    We’re using Miro to manage our specs and every part of the product journey gets its own shape. For example, let’s say all of our emails get a circle with all the details in it.When team members are working with the board, it will be helpful to be able to highlight all shapes as selected, so as a developer I can easily see all of the parts I have a responsibility for, and all the emails I have to set up.This is achievable by digging into the details, of course, but we’d like to achieve a “one quick look” view to be able to see it all. This will help us:To not miss any parts of the tasks that need to be done Let every team member see their value and how their contribution is intertwined in the customer journey.
