I like to print these and it’s a waste of ink that I can’t get rid of the light gray background. I realize I can make a new white background, but I would like to change the default from light gray to white.
I’d love to have the ability to multiple-select a bunch of items and then click one button or menu option that would convert each one into its own separate frame. Right now, if you multi-select items, then right-click and use the “Create Frame” option, it makes one frame that contains all the objects. I want separate frames for each without having to click through on each one. This would be helpful for me, a professor, when I import a slide deck as a multi-page PDF or from Google Slides and then have Miro extract the pages of the slides. If implemented, this feature would let me click/drag over each of the separate slides and turn each into a frame, making it easier to do presentation mode.
Hi, I have a customer with whom has many stakeholders and I have created shared many boards. I would like to be able to list out every board for that customer (listed under a specific project). So the request is to download the list of boards with the details of the projects and the hyperlinks. thanks, Stuart
I love the ability to express and share feelings in Miro. My wish is to be able to be mindfull and present together by filling the screen with a soothing figure/color/movement and a “breath in, hold, breath out” guidance. As simple as that but very effective :) Maybe you could cooperate with Headspace. They have a brilliant service, with inspiring motivation to be mindful and also to move your body. Their “mindful sun” is so caring, it makes you smile and relax. Thank you for your fantastic universe!!
Our team often has to change different bullet lines to specific colors to represent positive and negative. However, this will randomly change the bullet dot color and there’s no way to easily control the color of the bullet points when you start introducing other colors in a bullet list. It looks terrible!
I am trying to solve a problem where my team is reviewing, marking up, and digitally signing documents individually. This leads to communication gaps and many other problems.I want to be able to upload a PDF, mark it up with my team in a workshop type review, document approval by all participants, then export that mark up as a PDF for record retention.Allow multiple users to apply a signature (like a digital certificate) to document approval. This approval would be visible when content is exported to PDF.
Currently all links created to share a board with anyone are permanent until the links are manually removed by the owner. As a users would like to see a way to set an expiry date on a public link so my board does not remain unintended permanently shared with everyone. As an admin would like to enforce a maximum expiry period for public links for all boards under the Enterprise license to protect company data stored in Miro from unintended sharing.
I use some boards regularly, on the same PC.Yet they load slowly all the times - why there is no caching for images, data, etc…?Caching in browser could help a lot, making page loads 10x faster.
I’m trying to reorder the frames in a board with over 300 frames and doing it one at a time is a big pain. It would be awesome if there was a way to select multiple frames at once in the Sidebar to drag them into the right order for the presentation, or a way to rearrange the slide order by typing in the number in, or a way to automatically rearrange the order of slides to match the positioning in the board from top to bottom! Thanks!
It would be cool, if there is an easy solution to assign miro clients (with a paid consultant account) to another consultant account. We work a lot with freelancers in different settings. They use already miro and pay for it. Why shall we then pay 2 or 3 or 4 times the same fee? I learned, that it is part of today’s miro pricing model, but here it gets over-expensive. Just sharing a link with them would mean, that I don’t have control on the link anymore and have to track it in a separate list, with whom I shared which board.
To create a new sticky note you can hit “tab” to create a new sticky note of the same shape and color. This would be very handy to be able to do this with shapes as well. We use shapes and colors to quickly identify and build empathy for people and traits.
I would like to focus in on a certain area of my board when presenting. I am using the shapes that allow me to use tags. I want to focus in on the shapes with a specific tag during my presentation. To put a “spotlight” on these certain shapes and shadow out the rest would allow me to highlight these items without having to pan to a different frame. As of right now, the only way I can think to do this would be to copy the shapes with the same tags to a separate frame and panning over to that frame during the presentation.
Hi We are using Miro for our SAFe PI-Planning activities where we want to plan certain stories for different iterations of a Program Increment. In order to have an overview about the Epics, we want to color the cards in such a way, that they represent the color of their Epic in Jira. This helps a lot to quickly see which Stories belong together. Currently, we have to import the item and then put them into a correctly colored frame, which is a lot of manual work.
We have in our team started to use miro as a Kanban board, where we use miro cards. Sometimes some of us add a sticky note ontop of the card itself, so we can write the actual status there for everyone to see, especially if people are out or something is a bit slow in moving status’s.However, when we then move a card the stickies do not follow the card, and the cards jump up often putting the stickies to the back, so my question is, as this is to feel like a real witeboard too, how do I stick a miro sticky ontop of a miro card, and make it stick to the card ?
It would be great to have keyboard shortcuts to grow/shrink the fontsize of a textbox. Of other objects too, for that matter, bu I’m mostly interested in text boxes. (for example in Word I use Ctrl+< and Ctrl+> to shrink or grow selected text and it’s a whole lot faster than using a mouse. something similar would be helpful here.
It would be great if you could select a grouping of shapes and then sort by the first string character. For example, if I wanted to sort 20 squares with names.
It would be spectacular if I were able to paste a text string with a delimitator and have Miro split the string into multiple, like-kind, shapes. For example, if I have a listing of names split by a semi-colon, I could past this string to the board and have Miro split each name into a square.
Hey :) I love the iPad app for sketching out ideas and wireframing. The Highlighter tool is really useful when doing this. However, highlighting is usually done AFTER writing something with the pen tool. Which means that the writing layer is underneath the highlighter layer. It would be great if the highlighter automatically went underneath the writing layer. I’m coming from GoodNotes 5 which has this feature, and it’s great. Thanks!
