I am a big fan and user of frames, but we need some improvements:(1) When I create a "New Frame Below" in the Frames Session, it creates it, but after one minute it takes down all the frames to the botttom. Solve this bug.(2) When I want to move frames’order, we have to move each one of them MANUALLY ONE BY ONE. Please let us select more then 1 frame at once and move them in the Frame order. This is a terrible experience, moving one by one. (3) When we print frames in PDF, please allows to SELECT the frames we want to print(4) Wher we print frames in PDF, please do NOT include HIDDEN frames, it does not make any sense to include them.(5) Please create somekind of Meta-Categories of frames. Sometimes I want to show some frames to some people (ex. coworkers), and sometimes other frames to other people (ex. clients). But I have to prepare it all the time. If we have saved Meta-Categories of frames, we could easy select which one we will present.Thank you !
I would like a tool that replaces all the text in a drawing with Lorem Ipsum (or the like) so I could pass anonymized versions of drawings to Miro support.I have a very complex drawing which shows some weaknesses in Miro, however the content is too proprietary to pass on. If there was an Anonymize tool that replaced all the text with similar length random text in the same style it would be OK to pass the file on.
Poderia ter a tradução para a lingua brasileira, visto o número do aumento de usuários por aqui!!! Quando convidamos alguém para alguma dinamica, se fosse em português traria mais inclusão para quem não entende outras linguas.
It would be amazing if you were able to lock an object to the presenters screen.Such as a list of rules for the hosted event! I hope something is on the horizon
Is there a way to create a component (group of elements) in Miro, then upload data whether a JSON, XML or CSV or link to a data source like an api/sql? Auto-create variables with the data, then have that element loop through the data and create views.
Just as the title says, when moving board to different project, include name of board being moved in modal. Sometimes if you are interrupted before actually moving the board you come back and there’s no indication which board you are moving.
I would like a tool that allows you to poll the people visiting your board - without having to make visual artifacts on the Miro board itself (why dot-voting wouldn’t suffice). Something like the tool in Microsoft Teams like this and then it would pop up on everyone’s Miro screen to answer or close.
Wouldn’t it be cool if we had the ability to create any kind of shape we wanted? Like smart drawing, but with a big difference – the drawing wouldn’t be transformed into an existing shape. The ends would just meet, creating a new shape. Any kind of shape (maybe straighten out the lines a little). But with the same properties as standard shapes (background image, border, text, etc).Yes, the title is a variant of the famous Metallica song The Call of Ktulu from Ride the Lightning, based on HP Lovecraft’s short story The Call of Cthulhu. I simply had no idea what to call this idea. 🤷♀️ (And The Call of Ktulu is one of my favorite Metallica songs.)
Hi,I would like to display dynamic data objects (output as text values) from my database (e.g. MySQL) on the P&ID (Process and Instrumentation Diagram) placed as image on the Miro board. Therefore I need to add various dynamic data objects (from DB) in any place of the board. Please see sample image attached. I trust this functionality would be beneficial for many customers especially in the manufacturing business. I would like to get your response concerning the suggested method or app how to do that.
When using Miro across 2 monitors, modal windows are popping up on the seam between the screens and there is no way to move them into clear view.
Hi!Wondering if anyone knows any plist config to prevent the Miro Desktop app for MacOS from autoupdating?
Hi everyoneI suggest a simple but very helpful tool that I called “Magnifier”.This is just a rectangular area where you can see the area under your cursor in a bigger magnification. And I think it would be much useful with quick hotkey (say, “X”): when you press it, you are temporarily switched in this mode till unpressing. This would help to be oriented in complex-organized board without zooming in and out.
Would love to see the ability to create and reuse styling presets for elements on the board. Right now if I want to have a consistent and clean board (and who doesn’t) I have to spend a considerable amount of time fixing styles on elements, especially if color or stroke type have a meaning on the board and so could cause confusion if they’re wrong.Take as an example the Flowchart template that comes with Miro. It’s beautiful. But as you work on it there is no way to reuse those styles Miro already set up. So instead it takes considerable time to fiddle with the shapes and get them all styled.True Miro does remember your last used style for e.g. shapes or connectors. But when you’re using multiple colors or stroke styles to communicate meaning (dotted line for async process, different colors for different zones, etc) this becomes less useful. As a workaround I tend to copy example shapes and lines off to the side of my document and copy/paste them - but then I can’t use Miro’s awesome fast workflows like dragging a line from one shape to create a new shape. Very Clunky.
It would be great if either each Jira status was a different colour, or you could define the colours of the Jira statuses, so that if you are looking at the Miro board from a zoomed out view, it’s easier to tell which cards are in which status
Miro is a fantastic tool for photo presentations, but the .TIFF file type is not supported for some reason. It seems like a no-brainer to simply support all major file types… Why would tiff not be supported? It would be great to be able to drag and drop all images from a folder, without having to go and manually convert hundreds of images to a different type, just because of this compatibility issue.
I know that you can navigate with the Miro map that exists in the corner to quick jump between locations on the board, but it would be nice to be able to pin/bookmark multiple locations on the board, similar to how you can set the ‘Start View’ for people when they log in, so that you can quickly jump between specific views on the board.
On larger boards, it would be really useful to have ‘pinned’ locations so that you could jump from board to board without having to zoom out and rezoom in, which requires the rest of the board to load and creates excessive delay when navigating around the Miro board.I imagine it also puts additional strain on what is required to be visually loaded when opening and moving around the board, and perhaps having a feature like this would also allow for reducing the computational weight of that process. Perhaps a feature that lives on the toolbar, or on the Pin Map (readily named! but to my understanding doesn’t have this function). The pin map gets pretty small though and if you had several pins, it could be hard to determine which you would be jumping to. perhaps a cached screenshot of the pin when you highlight over it might make them easier to identify.
