Hi!

Wondering if anyone knows any plist config to prevent the Miro Desktop app for MacOS from autoupdating?

I'm afraid it's not currently possible, but it sounds like a great idea for future improvement. Your post has been converted to a wish list idea, so other users can now upvote it too. It would be great if you could also share a bit more details here on how having this functionality will improve your experience so our Product team could better understand your use case.

Hi!

 

It’s mainly because non-admin users can’t update the Miro applications, so I’d rather to push out the updates than autoupdate trying to prompt the user.

I created an account just to ask this question/upvote this. If there are IT-friendly installers for Windows (https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017572854-Desktop-app) that either have auto-updates enabled (presumably without prompts for admin credentials) or have auto-updates enabled, why aren’t there corresponding installers for Macs?
