For teaching and workshops. We often invite users to move shapes and graphics around on a pre formatted board. One unlocked background graphic can wreak havoc on the whole session. Possible solution: lock all created objects created by a given user by default.
+1What I do sometimes is that I work first hand on all the parts that are not supposed to be moved around by anyone, be it frames, elements, shapes, icones, etc.
Once I am sure about the organisation of these elements, I "host lock" them all at once or Frame by Frame BEFORE I integrate any of the parts I want to allow participants to move (notes, shapes, icones, etc.)
This way, the step(s) of locking things up is (are) much quicker and do not require any selecting / filtering of which elements shall be locked Vs. Unlocked, and my activities can then run smoothly.
Watch out, if you lock all things at once, if you need to change only one, then it is mandatory to unlock all the items to perform your change on only this one thing. 😉
