I love how the brainstorming diagram now permits minimizing branches. I have a large brainstorming diagram, and when I expand a child node, it moves the parent nodes around to make room. But when I minimize the child nodes, the brainstorming diagram should “snap back” into its original position, I think.
When exporting a miro board to a PDF, it would be most helpful to provide the names of the exported frames as outlined bookmarks to the pdf. (Inner frames under outer frames) etc. This would provide a most helpful structure to that resulting docunent. And if vice versa, such a layout could be used to generate a structured output of pages , when extracting pages from PDF to the board. What do you think about?
when I select multiple objects, I see the filter option, which tells me how many of each item there are. If I only select one type of object (e.g. sticky notes), then I wan’t to easily see how many are selected - like notifications bubble/badge on iPhone apps
This is a minor one, but it would be nice if object selection wasn’t lost after an undo action. Here is the usecase: Want to move / copy / edit larger number of objects in one go select n object apply desired action realise that not all objects were included Undo, to select further objects Issue: at this point one has o select from scratch again While this sounds like a small thing, not loosing he selection on Undo (as is the case with most other vector tools) would save a lot of time...
Please can a ‘request licence’ button be added for fixed licence plans to allow users to alert admins to reassign a licence when needed. At present when licences are all in use, users go to invite others to a board but are told there are no free licences - with no option to alert admin to the issue. Therefore resulting in awkward management detached from Miro. A simple button to then alert admins to the request would be really useful - Thanks
It would be great to have a summary view of all cards you've been assigned to in a board and also for from all boards you’ve part of.
It would be great if there were a way to add text to a board that is formatted as code, ideally with syntax highlighting for the most common languages.For example:fun double(x: Int): Int { return 2 * x}
Miro has addressed the need for a 2022 annual planning calendar but not the 2022 monthly social planner.
Is there a REST API backlog feature to create an endpoint for user notifications? A notification endpoint would be useful for a solution we are creating to manage the lifespan of a board. If a board has not been looked at or modified over a defined period, we will delete the board. We’d like to send a notification to the board owner and board creator when a board is deleted.
Anonymous editing makes sense in a lot of cases. On the other hand it is really helpful to see names on the cursors to see edits.A share setting for “only for miro members” would be a really nice features. On one side, it will save the overhead of inviting people to teams, on the other hand it makes transparency on the participants, and you save time in asking “who is missing” or who was visitor elefant. So my feature wish is:Add the possibility to only allow logged in miro accounts the “everybody with link” option. E.g. via an additional checkbox
Dear community,I am using the calendar template, more specifically I added the 2021 calendar template to my team board. I need to plan for 2022 now. I suggest the creation of a 2022 calendar template. I could do it myself, I guess, but I didn't find any guidance on how to do that, and it wouldn't make sense spending time on such a generic feature if it has been already created by more experienced users! Thanks a lot in advance for your replies.
it will be great , if in mobile app will be possible to view images on Miro board in full screen mode ( for example - image of design screen for app)
Create the ability to easily filter andsee which projects all owned boards are associated with.
There’s a common pattern in design software, you hit Z and drag the area you want to zoom into. It’s present in ALLLL the other products that I use. Transitioning to Miro would be way easier with this pattern incorporated.
I was often facing a condition where I need to directly share what I have drawn on a Frame with my client. What do you think about a clickable direct link share to share a frame?
Enable linking and embedding of multiple Miro boards. They should be accessible like normal boards. (No pop-up window etc.)As numbers of boards grow this would be awesome for various organisational reasons. Thanks & Peace,Michael
This is about the new ‘feature’ that displays a preview to other boards when linking them in Miro.‘Old’ feature on the left (and apparently still accessible if copying URL from URL bar) and new ‘feature’ when using a link from the share feature. Can the thing on the right please be removed? Most of the board users I work with are not experts. And they cannot figure out how to actually jump to the target board with this new implementation. Also, many of them overlook the board title, especially when not fully zoomed in, so they don’t even understand it’s a link. What are you doing guys? Is this a case of UX designers’ idle fingers? This was absolutely perfectly working and it was user friendly. Now people get confused and have to do workarounds…Can you please fix this?
It is expected that an unlimited images collection can be implemented on the miro. And Don't limit image size.🤑I can pay for this service.
Boards can be organized in “projects”. In order to create some more structure, we began using projects names like:peter.muellerpeter.mueller.trainingspeter.mueller.trainings.templatespeter.mueller.discussionsSo project names can become long. Therefore, it would be nice to be able to re-size the project panel in order to see long project names. An idea is simply to be able to drag the vertical border between project panel and board list.Small change, enhanced usability :-)
For security reasons, we only share informations with specific team. We have lots of boards and lots of teams so it’s hard to organize. Please allow to show or hide frames only for part of the team. So we’ll be better organized.Actually, it’s possible to hide frames it’s for everyone or nobody. (not for a specific team)A near feature exist, so this can't be too hard to implement. What do you think?
Miro just changed to have to right click in order to move around the board. I’m trying to get used to it but it’s just driving me crazy. I’ve also been trying to hold the space bar and use the hot keys. Can you please create a setting to allow the user to decide if they want to move around with a left or right click?
