Everything You Need to Know About Miro Wish List
The Wish List is where we gather ideas directly from members of the Miro Community to help us make Miro even better. Excited to contribute? Here’s eve...

Hi, we have a ton of Miro boards and it would be great if I could search them from anywhere using macOS. Is there such a functionality or a workaround to do so?I have noticed that a Safari bookmark to a particular board does this job (at least when I search for the board title). However, exporting every board title is too much of a hassle - any ideas on that maybe? Thank you!
As a user of Miro, I should be able to clusterize images. Use Case: I’m doing an analysis of a competitor’s product and brainstorm a series of images(screenshots) onto my Miro board. I want to visualize the images as a function of tag( what the image depicts such as user experience, functional gap, etc. ).Let me tag an image so that I can clusterize by tag (as I can already for sticky notes) let me clusterize by color (of comment) as I can for sticky notes. dealer’s choice :)
I love the How-Now-Wow template for ideation sessions, but when trying out with an internal audience, a few of us weren’t immediately clear whether Innovation and diffuculty were ultimately pointing each way. A slight tweak to the template would make it immediately clear, by moving the labels to a better point on each axis:
Windows has a defined protocol for handling digital pen interactions, which allows for a uniform experience across software packages. Miro currently does not support this protocol properly - in particular, the erase functionality is not respected, which means that erase buttons (or the rear erase tip on some styluses) does not work as expected, but instead works in the same way as the writing tip does. It would be really helpful if Miro implemented the erase functionality of the Windows Pen Protocol properly, as this allows the user to quickly and naturally swap between the pen and erase tools without having to use any of the on-screen buttons. As this protocol is part of Windows, it works across all manufacturers of digital styluses.https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/component-guidelines/windows-pen-states
Would be really nice if I have option to check current board password. Now I can only set new password :( So if I share in multiply places board with link, but during time I add password protection and someone come to me to get password to go whrou and I don’t remember password it gets messy
I use the app Timely/Memory to track my work and log my hours. When I use Miro in my browser I can see the boards I worked in. When I use the Miro app, I can only see I’ve used the app. Because I am working on multiple projects thats the reason why I am nog using the app.
A built-in snipping tool would be awesome. Take screenshots and rolling screenshots directly from within Miro.
Like Mural, where you can rapidly create a new sticky – that is placed next with a shortcut key (Tab).
Hi there, dropped that idea already in the session with Jason G´Sell today.I´d like to see board notes included in templates. As currently if you save your board as templates, those notes get lost. That's a pity, as often I'd like to have the instruction for a facilitator included within that notes instead of putting them on the board directly. So I'd love to have at least an option like “include board notes in templates yes|no”Michael
the Idea is to a magic sticky (with a specific shortcut which is for each user coming on my board:This sticky is the avatar of user, Funny to make vote or assignation. I’m user I press the shortcut, that add my avatar on the board, I can resize or move them.bonus the avatar is also a link to my public profile
Include tasks that can be checked off within cards. Similar to Trello
In Agile, we have a technique called “Roman Voting” and would like to have the option to have this style of voting when needed. Roman voting requires, “Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, Thumbs Sideways”.https://www.clearlyagile.com/agile-blog/roman-voting-facilitation-technique
This community is a nice clean design, however IME, it’s a lot of effort to get to content due to scrolling and hard to see visual hierachy in replies. I so want to use it, but it’s so painful, it’s reached the point of being worth writing why. The forums could be much better with three reviews of the design:Additional (or less) Attention tags e.g. eliminate or resolve “don’t miss” when resolved. Visual hierarchy of replies i.e. replies to replies. Compact UI for less scrolling i.e. dump white-space and improve layout.Details in the replies.
Would be great if you could these features as Math educators struggles a lot , LaTex is too much time consuming , EquatIO already have image convert to LaTex , so why reinvent the wheelAdd EquatIO & GeoGebra as a plugin as they already have a bunch of stuffs for Maths Scientific Calculator . scientific formulas/expressions/equations pre available Can add equation or any math/science related things by connecting a phone or tablet and using pen on the phone and it shows on Miro live. Thanks , Kind regards.
Hello, The idea is the possibility to configure default language in global compagny settings or when we create users via SCIM
On some of my diagrams, the arrows point up or down, rather than sideways. When the arrow points sideways, having the text aligned with the arrow is fine, but when they point up or down, it would be nice if the text could flip 90 degrees so it’s more readable without having to turn your head to one side.
We use Miro for designing customers IT-solutions and develop our own icon sets for networking, servers, security stack etc. At the moment we lack an easy way to import icons / shapes to our miro board with the opportunity to change icon colours etc. in the Miro board.
This would be a killer feature, that could potentially save us a lot of time. The idea here is to use advanced artificial intelligence / machine learning to automatically group sticky notes into suggested clusters. Use CaseDuring a workshop, it's time for each of the 10 participants post ideas or problems on the board. 10 min later we have 80 sticky notes on the board. Now the facilitator wants to help the group to organize it, group duplicates, create clusters, so everyone can better understand it.Option #1 - The whole group spends a lot of time reading, discussing, trying to find out duplicates… Everyone is remote, so having that conversation is messy.Option #2 - The facilitator or a co-facilitator tries to help the team and starts to read and understand all the notes. Then group duplicates and creates clusters. Very time consuming! Using Miro AI AssistantFacilitator selects all 80 sticky notesOn the AI Assistant Toolbar, clicks on "Group Duplicates"On the AI Assistant Toolbar, clicks on "Clusterize"Booom….The assistant add sticky notes naming categories/themes and moves sticky notes accordingly. Shapes are grouped and that's it! A lot of time and effort saved! NoteI just found there is a Clusterizer plugin, but it groups the sticky notes based on their tags, not on the actual text. So, still needs the users to read and tag each of the stickies.
Hello, I am one of the Miro Company Admin’s for MetLife and we are seeing a high volume of users wanting to change or remove their profile pictures. Since SSO is enabled, users are not able to customize their profile picture. We would like to have the feature where users can customize their picture settings without having to turn off SSO.
During recent updates, Mouse V Trackpad switch was buried under two more clicks. I am using that switch multiple times per day (5-6) and it’d be very comfortable to have that switch somewhere near or maybe with some shortcut.Right now, the flow is:Settings icon Preferences Mouse or Trackpad Choose option DoneToo much I think.
