Have you ever wanted to animate your Miro?Bring icons, images and ideas along so they help you tell your story and guide the thinkers along the creative story you are building together? If we could have animation, with paths and the ability to sequence and start as needed, it would help us do that.Upvote this if you think it would help your user experience with Miro
Tables need WAY more than 50 rows and columns. Excel has millions. So many processes have hundreds or thousands of steps, and tables need to accommodate that. Please get out of the 1980’s and support at least 65,535 rows and columns.
since I use miro for our yearly international workshop week (every time about 11 boards, for 100 workshoppers) it would be helpfull to be able to arrange the boards in a (reversed) numerical order. That way, the 2023 boards would appear at the top of the list, the 2022 boards just below ...
I love getting email notifications about board updates, but for some boards I don’t really care about seeing updates. That said, I don’t want to necessarily leave the board. As a board owner or board member, I want to unfollow or un-watch the board so that I can stop getting board-change notifications.
Microsoft is opinionated how to use the mouseAs a user, I prefer software to behave “as expected” (for example:, on Windows mouse scroll == scroll up/down, shift+scroll == scroll left/right; ctrl+scroll == zoom in/out)I do understand other OSs are opinionated as well. the request is to provide an [x] option to choose “OS UX” over Miro special UX, for the interactions that are defined by the OS.
I'm making a content calender through the table with columns and rows… I can make 11 months… not 12 because of the limited use/add of columns. Why would it be that way.. miro is a neverending whiteboard, so why make ending tables?
I need to import questionnaire data (open-ended survey responses with attributes such as demographics or quantitative evaluations) to Miro regularly, to collaboratively make sense of it.Ideally, I could paste a table, where one column includes the sticky’s content, another one its type (e.g. hex or circle for male/female), a column that defines the sticky’s color, and two columns that define the initial x-y coordinates. The last one could be e.g. age, and likelihood of recommendation: When I’d paste the stickies, they’d end up ordered from left to right by age, and from bottom to top by likelihood of recommendation. This way the collaboration group can easily find positive responses by young people in the top-left corner, negative responses by older responders from the bottom-right corner, etc.For starters, I’d be happy to not need to colour code Excel cells manually, as mentioned in this post; for example, I wish I could copy A1:B12 from this sheet, and column B would automatically define the colours of the stickies.
When I pressing a "shift" key it takes be to mode select. That is very comfortable function and I using it very efficiently. Usually that work next way: I wrote a mistake, then instantly correcting it using a switching by pressing a "shift" key. Now this function disapeared :(Get back it again!!!
I have to use another app to capture screenshots when I’m documenting a user experience. I don’t want to capture a whole screen, I want to be able to select an area of my screen to paste directly into my board
Please add the functionalities that enable drag to reorder attributes in ERD. Right now, it’s super inconvenient and time consuming to draw an ERD.Thank you!
Would be great if the Rally plugin supported synchronization of Epics, Capabilities and Features also.We do a lot of dependency management at a feature to feature level, or roadmap planning at EPIC level and so having the ability to sync these to Miro would be really useful. Thanks John
Hi!Well, I didn’t search a lot to see if these ideas were suggested before. I’m enjoying the updates on Mind Map tool. Thank you! Now we are able to collapse the map.I’d like to suggest as an option or not, an auto align child nodes when collapse it. Yeah.. I think is just that.Thank you for the work and amazing tool!Happy New Year!
AWS Icons are useful for self learners and should be available to paying users by default.
I noticed that when I filter the "Role" column, I get the Company Admin as the top hit. However, I am missing the Team Admin directly below it. It is in the middle of the list.
In the administration interface under "Active users" there is the possibility to filter on License "Free" and "Full".However, I am missing the possibility to filter only the License "Free", without "Free restricted" hits. With the ever growing number of users, this would be an important filtering option.
It is very important to us that we as Company Admin can see all boards by name that a team has. As well as their owner. The content of the boards should not be made accessible to us in this view.It is only for administrative purposes, for example to be able to react when employees leave.
Currently, Slack is the only external way to be notified. The wish is to have other connectorIn my case Teams ← Primary Ivanti RSSOther can extend this wish by other messaging tools.Perhaps more universal with instead of connector, an assitant to integrate IFTTT, Microsoft Power Automate, Kimono Labs, Zapier ….
Hello Miro! Can you please create a new kind of “sticky notes” for ideation? These would appear as either:Colorful balloons: individual balloons from a customizable but fun-by-default range of colours would appear whenever you “inflate” (spawn) a new balloon to type your idea into. Naturally these would be for ideating positive ideas ie “things that make the team happy”. In the future you could add Mylar über balloons for “main ideas” or powerful / central concepts. Balloons should be able to stick together (and cluster by default) at diagonal points just like real balloons do due to static electricity. If you want to get really fancy you could have them jiggle with subtle balloon motion as they clump together. 🎈 Black balloons with white lettering: these monotone balloons would be used to record negatives (I.e. “things that slow the team down”)This just feels like a crazy fun way of brainstorming!!! 🥳🥳🥳I highly recommend the book “Joyful” from Ingrid Fetell Lee, this is where I got the idea from (p. 302-304 in the book, where she talks about recording the things that bring you joy, and the things that bring you down.)Here’s a podcast introduction to her ideas:https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-next-big-idea/id1482067226?i=1000551576154
My wish is to have a function where Miro can duplicate, or create from templates, boards for a new member that joins the team. There could also be fields where the new user’s name could be plugged in.This would be especially useful for consultants who are working with clients that are getting templates to be filled out with unique information to them.
