    Don't spell check namesOpen

    I have user research and it includes the names of folks I spoke with.  It would be helpful to be able to identify a block of text that is not to be spell-checked.  Currently, I must add all of the names to my dictionary to remove the squiggly red line.

    copy links for multiple browser tabs into MiroOpen

    Use Case:Doing research on the internet that results in opening a large number of browser tabs that you may want to refer to later. Problem to solve:It is a faff to individually copy each link from every tab into Miro and set up in a nice way. You want to record your browser session into your project: some tabs you have already read and perhaps want to dump a post-it or two over, or some tabs you haven't got round to reading but may want to in future. Critical Feature?:Not critical but would make life a lot easier at points. Possible Solution:Would be great to hit a button and drop links for all your browser tabs into Miro in one sweep, perhaps even with categorising them in some way in the process (e.g. read, read later, etc). It’s lovely to visualise your internet reading on Miro. I’m not sure technically how this would work? Internet browser extension perhaps? Or even just support for dropping multiple links and we could use something like this to generate: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/copy-urls-from-all-open-tabs-in-browser/

    Easy changings the presets of pencil/marker types (colour+thickness). And increasing their number up to four or five.Open

    Please, make shortcuts for presets of pencil/marker types (color+thickness) and increasing their number up to four or five (not three as it is now).Or make one hotkey for their cycling changing.But the most convinient and easy solution - will be a possibility to move tools and colour-thickness presets from secondary toolbars to the primary ustomizable toolbar (and then the user will be able to use hotkeys 0-9).Or maybe shortcut for quick opening the color-thickness palette. With ability to leave it opened.(I am a teacher and I use different colours a lot. I use mouse but more often I use graphic tablet.)Thanks!

    A more robust presentation creation systemOpen

    I’ve just started using Miro and loving it.I work with a large team and being able to collaborate this way, in one central space, is just what we need.In a perfect world, it would be great if we could easily translate this collaboration into client-ready presentations, without having to then rebuild everything in Google Slides/Powerpoint/InDesign.Yes, there are frames, and yes I know I can reorder them, but the functionality is quite basic. Sometimes our presentations can run hundreds of pages long.Here’s a wish-list of presentation ideasFrames dimensions you can set more precisely. Being able to see the dimensions as you drag the frame helps, but it’s a bit cumbersome. What if I want an 11x17 frame that prints at 150ppi? I need to find an online calculator to figure out those dimensions and then painfully drag my mouse to get the exact pixels I need. A full screen thumbnail view of all frames to easily re-order frames The ability to create blocks/symbols/repeating elements that appear on every page, like title blocks Page numbers or frame numbers The ability to easily edit/re-touch images in some way. Currently we use Indesign with links to Photoshop or PDF files that we can update, and those updates show up in the presentation. Does Creative Cloud functionality do this as easily as InDesign process I described? Haven’t looked into this yet. Layers! Custom fonts/Adobe fonts/Google fonts A more intuitive way to easily PDF a presentation so I can email old timers, or a shareable link to the presentation-only part of the board.I know what I’m describing is pretty much a combination of Miro and Google Slides/Powerpoint/InDesign, but hey, like I said, in perfect world…Thanks

    Create multiple presentation decks from selection of framesOpen

    If I say have 10 frames for example. I would like to create say a presentation deck (deck-1) having frames 1,3,5 and 9 - and another presentation deck (deck-2) having frames 1,2,4,and 10. The presentation decks will have there own names for quick reference.

Be able to name it and classify it in a slideshow with other snapshots, like the frame system. Of course, keep the frame possibilities that have many other advantages."Personally, here is how I understand his request (or rather how I divide it into 3 distinct expectations, 2 of which resemble already existing requests)1° Create a frame from what I currently see on the screen.2° To be able to hide the edges of a frame on the board3° To be able to create a "nameable and sortable series of frames"I have the impression that the 1st requests are quite simple to implement.     With „Hyper cards“ we could add a lot of information to a board in an easy readable wayOpen

    Problem:Stickies are great for adding information to a board and structuring it. But the amount of content that fits on a sticky is limited. How could I add a bunch of text, an image and maybe a PDF to a sticky? User story:As a Miro user who is aware of the flexibility in working with stickies,I want to use something like an „advanced sticky“so that I can add way more intelligence to my board without losing the comfort of stickies. Solution:Add a new feature that introduces something like an advanced sticky:A type of a card that can be flexibly moved around and be connected to each other like a sticky. But with more options in writing content on it. When clicking it, it could open a pop-up where a user can add (almost) infinite text, images, files etc.When adding e.g. a PDF, it opens in an additional window, like the preview function in Safari on the iPhone.It could look something like this. Please use this Design only as an inspiration.

    Board History Folders When Moving FramesOpen

    In the current version of Miro, when a user moves a frame, the board history records every asset (shape/line/stickie note/text) as having moved. This is wonderful! However, It would be so lovely if when a frame is moved, the board history could collapse all those assets into a carrot folder/drop down. Currently, I am scrolling for long minutes to get through the board history because each frame can add upwards of 100lines to the board history depending on the number of assets in the moved frame.Small quality of life feature I would really enjoy :)

    Dual windowsOpen

    I find myself panning across my board to refer to a specific section as I work on another - it would be great if you could spilt the window and pan separately in either section, within the same board (or perhaps even another). You can do this in Word docs and it’s super powerful. I find that I need to zoom in to see detail in one section so simply zooming out, panning and zooming back in takes me right out of my context.

    Auto-formatting of mindmapOpen

    If there is a way to have a mind-map automatically tighten / collapse when you add / delete a node and keep the entire map centered that would be very useful.  Right now you have to continually adjust the overall map to make it more printable.

    This is the first time that Miro has failed Autoformatting is a nightmare when your mind maps get big. I am trying to sketch out a framework for a product strategy and reordering items on the board is so frustrating. This should be turned off by default

    Ability to make Boards private in a shared ProjectOpen

    In our structure, we want full transparency within all Projects. Some of these projects can however contain specific boards with more sensitive information, and it would be great if these boards could be set to “invite only”. That would mean all users can see the boards relevant for them in each Project, but we can still have certain sensitive information only accessible for the right people. A prime example of this would be a Project for Management. Here they can share visions, roadmaps and similar workshops with everyone, but with this functionality they can also have private, more sensitive boards with strategy work and similar.

    'Author' field could also be set as a 'Source'Open

    I would really benefit from being able to use the author option on post-its and cards as a ‘source’.When I have a tonne of different sources to track and attribute in my user research it would be super useful to be able to use the spot where author is located as the source field.

    Option to configure all board-level Sharing Settings at the parent Project levelOpen

    Include an Option in Projects to set Sharing Permissions for all boards within the project, if granted Editor or higher access to the project. My team has a need to be able to not only access all boards within a Project, but also need to have the ability to COPY content into new boards. Because this is set at the board level rather than the project level too many additional steps are necessary to ensure all have this ability.

    Setting to disable onboarding featuresOpen

    Dear Miro, You have a spectacular product with an extremely intuitive UI; thank you for that! In fact, your product is so intuitive and lovely, I really don’t need your onboarding features. At all. Really. Unfortunately the most annoying thing about your product is that I can’t seem to properly disable these onboarding features; it seems I need to close the same dialogues on several distinct occasions, in some cases over five times!I’m also not particularly interested in having notifications for your changelog clutter my UI. I’ll discover new features organically, thank you very much!So please: some way to disable this stuff and keep my experience focused on what I am there for: using your awesome product to do my awesome stuff. Yours sincerely,A new fan

    Import PPT Slides to Miro board as ImagesOpen

    Currently when you import a power point deck it seems to embed the PowerPoint deck into the Miro board. I have noticed that when you do this with a few PowerPoint decks it can significantly impact the boards performance. It would be great if there was an option when you dragged a slide into Miro that let you import all slides as images for better performance.

    Reduce number of steps to SAML re-authOpen

    Currently, when my SAML token expires, I’m forced to click through multiple pages to get logged back in. In other apps, I’m simply pushed through the SAML reauth flow automatically, reducing the number of clicks to zero (unless my auth has timed out in the SAML provider).This is the standard way that many apps work, and seems like a miss that I have to learn how to click through multiple steps every time my saml claim expires :/

    Set Date Calendar NotificationsOpen

    Miro Cards have a “Set Date” calendar option, but there doesn’t seem to be a calendar notification for this function. The calendar tool is halfway built. It would be so nice to see it completed. I don’t want to custom build this tool. Is it in the pipeline?(This feature had been submitted a while ago, so I’m bumping this up.) Thank you!Mark
