Duplicate (Cmd-D) after Alt-drag should repeat the same direction and distance

After I Alt-drag to duplicate an object, I want the Cmd-D duplicate command to create the next object in the same direction and distance.

This feature has existed in Adobe products for decades, and it’s also a huge time saver in Figma.

Currently the Duplicate command seems to place things almost at random.
