Some mind mapping tools like Ayoa are so powerful. You can add images directly to the main node or children. In Miro, we can't add images to nodes directly. We can just add them to the board and it is not useful. Because of that, we can not align pictures together with nodes by your perfect align button. We have to re-arrange the images again and again. Please add this feature to your perfect app. Thanks in advance.

I moved from Miro to Simplemind only because of this reason.

Yes indeed, so frustrating, its a fundamental basic feature, surprisingly not in place initially, and after so many request for so long..

I was about to buy a subscription to this product because it looks great and has a lot of functionality, but fortunately I discovered that it doesn’t have this basic function, which is mind-boggling. I can connect a picture to a node, but then it doesn’t collapse with the node; it just hangs there, awkwardly, on the canvas. Why? How does this make sense?

Did anyone find a software where it is possible to attach image to mind map? this is so frustrating that it is not possible to do here((

Why oh why is this still not a feature.  Pasting an image into a mind map node is a no brainer.  Especially since miro already supports this on the board.   Common people.  Get to.

Signing up for this request as well.

Would really appreciate an update here.

Yes connecting image ot text via is obvious first thing I tried, but then searching for how to get the image to colapse with the TEXT node. As one user says Miro need us to be able to insert a picture in the text box, or simple let us choose text box or images, sometimes we want to have text, sometimes we want to have images, and we still need the whole view to be able to go from big to detail breakdown aka mind map.

Miro please help me with this!!

+100

This feature is currently present in XMind, along with connecting other types of objects. I need this to totally switch to miro for mind mapping.

3  years later, we haven’t got it...

there some community members that have roled out a BETA App to convert images to Miro boards at upframe.tech for anyone needing this function

3 years later the option is not yet available.. disappointing

Please!

I have just joined in on using Miro and was so shocked to find this wasn’t already a feature! Let alone still not implemented 3 years on!

This would be a game changer!

@Matthew Kramer

I can’t find the other solution you propose. can you enlighten me on this please?

upframe.tech web site looks off. Any workaround?

Thanks

Hey @Charles Collin ! Thanks for the message - quite right, the domain recently changed to upframe.ai - let me know if that works.
