Text Justification (in ratio) on Lines / Paths

Just a loose idea while working - it would be so nice to have proportionate, ratio-driven text justification for any text written on a line / path. I wrote a phrase along a straight line and have to eyeball the center point of the line. By ratio-driven, I was thinking how you could justify the text (1/4 of the distance to the right, 2/3 to the left, etc). Could be represented visually as columns.
