If this (I guess easy to do feature) were supported, then it would be very easy to have overlapping frames with different colors.
The frame concept is very helpful on big flow-charts explaining a technical solution, but child-parent frames with different colors is not possible. Of course, we can use a big rectangle, but a frame has features like navigation and view/hide etc. which is great and fits these big flow-charts.
