Lucidchart supports running system queries against your database which then autogenerates an ERD based on the output. Be pretty sweet to be able to do that in Miro.

Was it helpful?

For relational data, an obvious basic for ERD diagramming would be an SQL import that turns Data Definition Language commands into entities and relationships. Is this not supported yet?

We are switching from Draw.IO to Miro so we can have better asset management of our Data Model’s however as our application grows and we import data from other systems it would be nice to import a base table that we can then update to the Future State for our Engineering team. This would save a lot of time is basic databases or CSV imports to Miro could be supported. Exporting he Diagram to an Entity would be awesome as well.

We too are switching from LucidCharts which had a really good entity import tool, would love to replicate the same. Alternatively is there an API we could use to achieve the same?

Would love to be able to import ERD diagrams generated from SQL Server

Would it possible to generate ERD in Miro from table in excel ?
