Want to recognize first that this request is distinct from moving endpoints, which does bring up the snap alignment guides. This is specific to clicking and dragging the entire connection line.
It would be super helpful if clicking and dragging the connection line would snap align to other objects. This request is made doubly helpful because moving connection points carries with it the risk of connecting to another object by mistake.
