Make on-board links to elements on the same board relative (to allow for copying of a board with such links)

on-board links between items on the same board are very helpful during presentations of a board and to assist users to navigate a board.

The problem starts when you want to re-use an existing board that contains such links:

links on duplicated / copied boards will still link to the item on the original board.

This makes it hard to re-use boards with links on them - they must be edited.

It would be great to change this behavior and make on-board links relative.

Was it helpful?

Yes! Just ran into this problem when duplicated a board that I created for customer training. The links take you to the original board. Thanks for linking out to the work around @WolfgangRathert
