Mind map text alignment

Hi,I’m using the Mind Map tool in Miro In the past, when I worked on my mind maps, I remember being able to control the text more fully (including alignment and a larger text toolbar, similar to the regular Text object). Now, when I select a mind-map node, I only see the shortened toolbar (color, bold, link, highlight etc.), and there is no option to change text alignment (right/left/center) for the nodeswhat happned?

AI background removal won't work

Dear support,I have Starter Team plan and my AI feature isn't functioning well. For a couple of months I'm struggling with background removal. I have all credits availiable. It sometimes takes 10-30 minutes of wait until the pic background is being removed. Sometimes I ends up not having it revoved at all. I really need this feature. Notion Embed not working!

Hey! When I am trying to embed notion page onto miro via iFrame, it shows as it’s loading and then suddenly disappears. I have managed to do it before and it was working all fine now no matter what I do it’s just not working. Any ideas what could it be? Regards Matt

Getting Vanilla JS Web SDK 2.0 app to appear on Tools, Media and Integrations

I am attempting to test a simple Web SDK 2.0 app that listens for changes to rectangles and makes calls to a REST API. I cannot get the app to appear on the Tools, Media and Integrations menu.ATTEMPT #1:I figured that, since I did not create any UI elements, I did not need anything as heavyweight as Vite. So I just wrote index.js with my code, wrote a simple index.html (that loaded miro.js in <head> and index.js in <body>) and served up index.html as a static from an Express server. After a couple days of struggling, I reverted to …ATTEMPT #2:Fine, I’ll carry the overhead of Vite. I used create_miro_app to create a template Vanilla JS app, and I overwrote the sample index.js with my own. The only other change that I made was switching the port in vite.config.js from 3000 and 3001. My app still does not appear under Tools, Media and Integrations. What could be missing?

Pen stops working ONLY in Presentation Mode after recent Miro update

Hi everyone,I’m a teacher using a Huion H640P pen tablet, and for the past two weeks I’ve been facing a consistent problem: the pen stops drawing in proper way only in Present Mode.Here are the key details: The pen works normally in Editing mode and Full Screen mode. The issue happens only in Present Mode. It appears on all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). It happens on multiple OS (Ubuntu and Windows). After about minutes in Present Mode, the pen stops drawing or the strokes disappear. Switching back to Editing mode immediately restores normal pen behavior. This started approximatly 2 weeks ago. If anyone else is experiencing the same issue — or if the Miro team can confirm this is a known bug — please let me know.

No end of problems with using Miro on a tablet...

Too infuriated to write down all the issues with using Miro with a tablet, but wanted to start the conversation to see if anyone else is having any issues? I've recently splashed out on a Microsoft Surface Pro and I am flabbergasted how terrible Miro is on a tablet... My MS pro is actually supposed to be a tablet and laptop rolled into one, so I thought it would be perfect for online tutoring on Miro. Surely a tablet would be one of the main types of devices you would use on a whiteboard app?? I will write a couple of things down as I remember them from this morning's lesson... 1. There is no easy way to paste (that I can see) using Miro.When you long press the menu doesn't offer 'paste' as an option! 🤯 You can get around this if you are able to force a keyboard pop up. Many tablets do not have this function but mine does thankfully. Why in God's name would it not be in the long press pop up menu? Incredible. 2. Copy and pasting links to pdfs doesn't work.On desktop and laptop you can

Is there a way in tables to count days from start to end in a third column?

I’m trying to count days from a start date to an end date to compare length of project to a standard that we try to stick to. That way when calendar dates start to shift, I can quickly see if the project is going to be at risk of completing.

Table generating problems using AI

I would like to report a problem and find out what happened and how to fix it?. Since yesterday, the new AI plugin in Miro does not allow me to generate a table. What is my goal and what do I want to achieve? I select 30-35 objects (sticky notes) that contain observations from research. Then I prepared a prompt that previously allowed me to generate a table with 4-5 columns and assign sticky notes to the table format. And until now, it worked very well. Now it doesn't work at all. I mean, after entering the prompt, the system thinks and finally generates the view "No content to display" even though in the chat dialog window it gives or suggests that it has prepared a table and solution. How to fix it or restore the previous version of document creation with AI in Miro, which worked very well. Now it is very bad.

Did text editing disappear for mindmaps?

I have been working on a mindmap for the past few weeks. I just opened my mindmap again, and I noticed that changing the font and editing the text size isn't possible anymore. So, I thought it might be a bug, let's refresh everything, but nothing..Now, I'm almost CERTAIN this was possible the last time I worked on this. I went to check the FAQs, just to find out that this was never a possibility (https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017572094-Text).I'm seriously doubting my own mind atm. STILL NOT RESOLVED - FRAMES EXPORTING IN CORRECT ORDER

Hello Miro Community,Miro is great at presentations and maintaining the order inside its platform, however when the client wants a pdf copy of that presentation the whole experience goes to hell in a handbasket. There is a significant issue when attempting to export the presentation into a pdf. The order of the frames is jumbled randomly when exported. Additional programs are required to then put into order i.e. adobe, bluebeam, etc None of the solutions on Miro community work - I have tried them all! Inefficient - especially over something rather basic… page orderI have done everything from filtering to clicking each frame in the order I want the presentation to be without any resolve. Is it the size of the file issue? Is there a limit to how many frames the platform is capable of handling? Do we need to use a compliant/preferred browsers? HELPWhen it comes to the user group of architects and designers this is a real problem. A duplication of work and a cost to the client. Please come

Copying and pasting using a tablet

I’ve just splashed out on a tablet to use for Miro. I have been using a Wacom pen tablet for years on Miro now and mostly it works very well, using it with a tablet and no keyboard seems a bit of nightmare at the moment…With a keyboard copying and pasting is easy. You find a pdf online or an image and you copy the image or the pdf link and paste into the board using ctrl+c, ctrl+v. How the hell do you do that without a keyboard?? Miro seems to only know how to paste Miro objects when I long press on the screen. A menu pops up with no option to paste! In fact, paste doesn’t seem to appear even if I copy an option from within the Miro board! I can duplicate, but not copy and paste.On a related issue, the embed tool doesn’t seem to be working very well either on touch screens… I’ve found it works on the the web browser version of Miro, but not on the windows app, it seems. Each time I click the tool it just flashes and closes immediately.Anyone have any thoughts about this? Thanks!
