Would like to paste as Grid and not Table (Beta)

Agreed. This change is highly annoying. Very hard to format tables from excel now.

This is INFURIATING. I don’t want Excel functionality, I just want to be able to lay out text in a grid layout. Pasting now only gives me the choice of a table or stickies, neither of which meet my needs - especially as the default cell size for tables means I can not see all my text, and I cannot see a simple way to resize cells to fit the contents.

Please, is there any other way to paste cells from excel as grid? I don want to paste a table, I want it to be a grid. 

Need this feature to be reverted soon. Is there any moderators reading this post? It added too much manual work for me now.

If I want to paste as table I will paste when selecting a table. atleast keep old functionality in the option without removing it completely like this.

I share the opinion, I'm specifically protesting and would like the ability to insert into the Grid again. The new table is cumbersome for what I would use the grids for. I want to use the grids for something else, not Excel. This is not against the new table, but I'm asking for the Grid back with the ability to insert, please, please, please.

The same from my side - completely unusable this way. Please add an option to the popup to paste it as grid.

+1 that ended up "suffering" with this new feature. I had a process organizational process dependent on that "copy/paste" and now I am unable to produce the same results. For me the worst problem is the lack of treating a specific cell like an object (for example to draw an arrow from it)

I have also opened a support ticket - the more tickets we open, the better the priority for fixing the problem. 🤔

it’s incredible that a program based on usability would take away a feature that was working well. If you look at the history of this, it was a highly requested feature and was finally implemented:

why in the world would miro developers undo this feature instead of keeping it as an option? it is completely infuriating.

Yes, the enforced paste as table let my effort litterally explode from a 5min job to 45min, trying to get URIs correctly pasted into the cells, trying to adapt fonts et all. The table also does not allow to stretch/shrink proportionally or shrink to minimum needed col width. I had to give up, and create the grid by hand. Looking again if “ConceptBoard” is an option.

And Beta Tables are practically worthless as you cannot select multiple cells, rows or columns and cannot copy and paste data from them. Why would a way less featured beta tool replace a working reliable method? It is baffling. I’ve said it before, but I doubt Miro devs use their own product.

Indeed, this is ruining my entire (12 people) team’s workflow. Why can’t we turn off this ‘beta’ feature?

Please allow paste as Grid as it is very difficult to work with the current table(Beta) version :( 

I submitted a support ticket for this same issue and I was pointed to this thread. I agree with the posts on this thread.  The removal of the ability to paste into a Grid broke an important process that we use in Miro.  The Table Beta feature is useless for what I need.  Please bring back the Paste into a Grid feature.

Really? Is it so hard to prioritize a feature which people are facing a problem, against something your team has decided without thinking about these edge cases? 

Could we have the ability to choose between pasting as: a table or as a grid? The new table function is not useful to me. its actually quite annoying.

Totally agree with everything said above. The new table format is terrible. I do not appreciate a loss of simple format and complete replacement it by a half-baked product that significantly adds amount of work for me and my team. 

This issue makes grids useless, please re-enable copy past to grids.

Miro, fukcin’ respond, or you lose all credibility here on this ‘community’ forum. We will be officially reclaiming our license fees due to you disabling a core feature that was available when we signed up with out team of 12, and now is defunct.
Your lack of response is appalling.
