When I log into Miro, I find that after deleting files, I can't find the boards anywhere anymore. They used to be found in the trash.
Board owners can, however, load the link of a Free Plan board that was Trashed and restore it within 90 days of deletion. For example, find the board link in your browser history (you can search by board name) and open it to see:
You will find the list of deleted files by going to the trash: https://miro.com/app/dashboard/trash
Miro seems to think that changing around their UI a lot makes things easier, but in fact, I think most people just want to use an AI, ask a question, and go directly to the API they need.
So, that's the URL for the trash API and hopefully, even if the folks that think that cosmetics are more important than functionality get their hands on it and move the trash somewhere else, that that URL will still work so you can delete permanently or restore as you wish.
I have absolutely no idea why the UI doesn't offer "delete permanently" as well as "restore the board" but that's the problem with UI designers… API however, must be complete, even if the UI is not.
Hi
Could you share a screenshot of your Trash in Miro? Also, could you please confirm if you can access the deleted board here: https://miro.com/app/dashboard/trash
