What happened to the "old" Comment Panel Functions in New UI

The Comments panel is accessible through the new navigation sidebar. It can be opened by clicking the icon in the bottom left corner of the board.
The controls you’ve mentioned are accessible from there as well.

Wow those Sub-Menu Buttons are hard to see… Thanks 
May I suggest that the older thread, noted in the question, be re-opened so that a comment can be added to say that the UI has moved on; and refer people to this thread (or whatever the latest UI is, or becomes?).
