Hi,

I used a csv file to create an org chart but the chart is just all of the employees in a line, none of them reporting to anyone,

Any idea how I fix this?

Hi @Amie Wojciechowska, welcome to the Miro community! 😊

It sounds like the CSV might not be structured correctly for Miro to recognize reporting relationships. Could you check if your file includes a "Manager" or "Reports to" column? This is needed to create the hierarchy.

A few things to try:
Check column headers – Ensure you have Employee Name, Employee ID, and Manager ID fields.
Verify data formatting – Each employee should have a Manager ID that links them to their supervisor.
Re-upload the CSV – Sometimes, refreshing the process helps.

If it still doesn’t work, could you share a screenshot of your CSV setup or a short screen recording of what happens when you upload it? That would help us troubleshoot further!

Let us know how it goes! 😊
