Transferring Boards between Accounts

Hi There, 

I am currently part of an Educational plan (I believe) where I am part of someone else’s Miro Team. I have made a board with only my account to access it (no one else in the team can), however I would like to create another account and upgrade to a Starter Plan but still keep my boards. 

Is there any way I can transfer over these boards to the upgraded new account? I have tried sharing the board with the new account but I can’t do that unless the new account is in the same team. Please assist

Without getting into board share settings and duplicating boards, the simplest method would probably be to download* the boards as backup files and restore/upload* them in your new account — more on this here:

*A paid subscription is required to both download and restore backup files.
