The zoom that makes things disappear

A colleague showed me something strange on his Miro board.

He has a frame with content inside. It's clearly "visible"... and when he zooms in, the content "disappears."

I checked with Send to Front/Back, and it doesn't change anything. Zooming out is there, and the layer order is correct.

Before opening a ticket, I wanted to see if anyone has already experienced this issue.

Was it helpful?

Hi @Christophe GESCHÉ  — thanks for sharing this!

Here are a few things worth checking:

  1. Are the disappearing items sticky notes, images, shapes, or widgets like tables or embedded content? Some embedded content (like iframes or third-party apps) can behave unpredictably when zoomed in too far.

  2. Have your colleague open the same board from a different browser or computer to rule out local rendering issues.

  3. Sometimes, extreme zoom levels (especially over 200% or under 5%) can cause visual glitches. Try resetting zoom to 100% and gradually zooming in again.

  4. If they’re using a browser, clearing cache and restarting can help resolve rendering glitches.

  5. If they're using the Miro desktop app, ensure it's up to date. Switching to the web version temporarily can help isolate the issue.

If none of those work, then yes — I’d recommend opening a support ticket and including a short screen recording if possible:
