I want to know how to use tables as demonstrated in October 8th’s Canvas ‘24 session using the Innovation workspace! 

It’s AMAZING!!!!! Is it available yet?

@Eca - I’ve been playing with the Tables beta and have some feedback on functionality. Where’s the best place to post that? Is there an existing thread or group?

A few bits of feedback so far:

  • Adding cards to a table transfers field information but removes all rich text formatting. This is really problematic for consistency.
  • Tearing off rows creates a synched card but it’s not a full card. Is it possible to make that a full card and make it editable?
  • It would be nice to create hierarchy in the table. For example, setting up milestones and sub tasks. 

These two issues make it rough to take full advantage of the new addition. It has a lot of potential. Especially with the copy/paste sync. Just not quite there yet for us to fit into a workflow.
