Hi friends,

Currently I am using EdrawMind from Wondershare for mind mapping. What is the way around to use those files on miro? Those are getting uploaded as images and not mind map files.

Appreciate your help!

Regards,

V

Unfortunately, Miro’s mind map object does not enable imports from other tools so your only option is either to import the mind map as an image or as a PDF file. Depending on the size, another option might be to export it as a CSV file, import it as a series of sticky notes and then copy & paste the content into a new mind map.

There is an existing wish list idea here about enabling mind map imports from other tools which you could upvote: https://community.miro.com/ideas/import-mind-maps-from-other-apps-111

@Kiron Bondale Thank you so much! I feel it’s a hurdle for anyone who wants to switch to miro.

Did the upvote on the wish list idea.

Also, how you would rate miro for mind mapping, mockups and flow charts?

@Vivek Anand -

There are certainly richer featured mind map only tools on the market but for the basics, Miro does a good job. For mockups and flow charts it is great - easy to learn, use and collaborate!
