When I start moving using the scroll bar, I often get stuck in scroll mode and the board just scrolls upp or down depending of mouse movement. The only way of geting out of this mode is accessing a tool in the tool box, typically I create a Post-IT and the scrolling stops.

Do I get it right that you are using our Miro Desktop app as well? If it’s a yes, could you please reset the app data by following this guide? Does it help?
 


Hello,

I am having this problem at present on the web-based version through Microsoft Edge. It has been happening for a few days so I am unable to use the app. My mouse just keeps scrolling, I have checked it is in “mouse mode” and that nothing could be interfering causing it to scroll repeatedly.

Can anybody help please?

Thanks for jumping in on this thread and sharing your experience!

 

Could you please try the following steps and see if it helps fix the issue:

  1. Check if the issue is reproduced in incognito (private) mode and a different browser
  2. Disable the browser extensions. Sometimes they clash with Miro processes (e.g. Grammarly with the text widgets). 
  3. If you experience performance issues on a specific board, try duplicating it and see if the issue persists on the copied board
