First time posting =)

I’ve been looking for a functionality that I’m doubtful to exist, but just wanted to check if I’m not missing it.

I’m developing a board that would benefit from having elements that would change status automaticaly if the matching one had it’s status updated. The goal is to have a group of elements on a list and see them updated in another place if the status is changed.

 

Example: If I change the left box to “In Progress”, the one on the right would change it’s status as well.

 

Is there any way to achieve this?

At the moment, Miro doesn’t support automatic status syncing between separate elements — so if you update the status on one card, it won’t reflect on another card automatically. I know this kind of functionality would be super useful, especially for keeping mirrored elements in sync across a board.

 

For now, any changes would need to be made manually or through a custom integration using Miro’s Developer Platform or tools like Make.com or Zapier.

 

If this is something you’d like to see added to Miro, I’d recommend submitting your idea to the Wish List here so the product team can take it into account — they do look at that when planning future improvements!
