We currently use the item color to identify the owning project in the timeline view, but this is not reflected/visible in the table view. This means that we need to do double work in Timeline/Table view on each item assigning a color/project, this can also lead to inconsistencies between the 2 views.
Did I miss anything here, or is this just not possible?

You're correct that colors assigned in Timeline view don’t automatically sync with Table view at the moment. Currently, color assignments in Timeline are independent of Table view formatting.
A possible workaround is to use tags or custom fields in Table view to manually indicate project ownership, ensuring consistency between views. However, I understand this isn’t ideal and adds extra steps.
If automatic syncing is something you'd like to see in Miro, I’d recommend adding it to the Wish List or checking if others have suggested it in the Miro Community!
