Hi all,

I hope al is well.

I know this has been posted before, but I’m not sure I have found the answer I am looking for. What I’m trying to do:

  • I’m on a paid team plan
  • We are two members
  • I want to add a third team member C
  • I want team member C to only access one board (because I need to make him owner)
  • C is my client who wants to own the board, but I don’t want him to see any of my other boards

Thanks

Julia

@Julia Arrighi - If your paid plan is the Team Plan and not the Consultant Plan, then keeping all boards hidden from a specific user/client will become administratively taxing on your part.

In order to hide all existing boards (and projects), you will need to make the following changes to your boards Share settings:

And for Projects:

New Boards/Projects created

And to avoid your client seeing any newly created boards/projects, you should change your default sharing settings as follows:

And when you do create any new boards that you want to share, you will need to explicitly share them with a team member.  You could also use Projects as mini-teams/folders and choose who you want to share those with and then add boards to those Projects.

You can read more about Projects in the Projects Help Center article:
