When switching out of presentation mode why does my video chat automatically start up?

Can you confirm that it was not on beforehand (i.e. no dot above the video camera icon in the bottom bar) as I have tried to reproduce this on both the Miro desktop app as well as through a web browser and have not been able to get it to do that?
