Has anyone had the same issue or an idea what I could do better? I created several frames in a board that has additional content besides the frames. The visual order of the frames is not the same as i want them to ordered while being in presentation mode. I manually reorganized the frames for my needs, but every time I open the board again the order isn’t the same anymore. Is there a way to fix the order or what am I doing wrong? Or in other words is there a logic behind the automatic order of frames in relation to creation time or location of frames in the board?
Thx a lot for you ideas,
Simon

Hi @Simon Droscha
It’s a little unclear to me what problem you are having? The presentation order (or the order when you export to PDF) you can see when you open the thumbnails panel. In this example, the order will be 3,2,1 even though the frames are physically ordered by 2,1,3
In this case, I closed and re-opened the board, and the “present” order did not change.
Have you tried this? Or are you saying, the presentation order CHANGES after reloading the board?
Cheers, Ken
Hi @Simon Droscha,
Thanks for reaching out, and great question!
It sounds like you’re encountering an issue with frames reordering themselves in presentation mode despite your manual adjustments. To clarify how Miro handles frame order:
Set Presentation Order: As Kenneth mentioned, you can manually set the presentation order by opening the Frames Panel (from the left toolbar). Here, drag and drop frames into your preferred order, which should stay consistent even when you reopen the board.
Order Changes on Reload: If the order resets each time you reload, it could be a temporary bug or a cache issue. Try clearing your browser cache or switching browsers to see if that helps. If the problem persists, it might be worth reaching out to Miro Support, as this is not typical behavior. More troubleshooting steps here: How to troubleshoot?
