Nodes not expanding

I have been working on a rather large mind map and collapsed a set of nodes. Now they won't expand. I click on the number and nothing happens. I have tried this in the browser and the app, and on different devices. It is not locked. I tried locking and unlocking. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thank you,

Heather

@HeatherM - What happens if you select the entire mind map and duplicate it? Ctrl/Cmd-D is the shortcut. Can you expand the nodes on the duplicate?

I cannot expand on the duplication, but I just figured it out. Thank you for getting my brain jump started. I had to “bring to front.” Even though I could edit the text, apparently the nodes were behind a box I placed.

@HeatherM - Nice - and good to know!

After collapsing a set of nodes within the mind map, I'm unable to expand them again. Clicking on the expand/collapse icon or the node itself doesn't yield any results. I've tried addressing this problem in both the Miro browser version and the app, on different devices, and have confirmed that the board is not locked. I even attempted locking and unlocking the board. I need to access the collapsed nodes for further work and collaboration.

The only way I found around this was to try the “bring to front” option on the main node. If there are any shapes or other features near the collapsed nodes do “send to back” option on those features.
