The new feature “Diagram” which was suggested to me, to which I respond affirmatively, deleted almost all my content on the board. Wires were eliminated, text was removed, boxes deleted. Not everything, but like 40-50%.
The whole canvas look strange and the icon for Diagram shows but it is in the canvas mode. It´s really important work that now seams to be lost. It doesn´t help to choose an older version in the History panel.

Hi @kurreburre
thank you for reaching out and adding the screenshot!
The behavior you described (content disappearing, wires and text being removed, board looking different, history not restoring correctly) is not expected.
Since this affects critical work and may point to a bug, I’ve converted your post into a support ticket so our Support team can investigate directly and check whether your content can be recovered on the backend.

I also have this problem!!!
My diagram was 95% complete and I was numbering the workflow steps. Now is all lost! My deadline is today and I really really wish you would have the respect to fix it right now!!
Hi @Rodrigo SETTI thanks for reaching out! I also converted your case to a support ticket. You should receive a response soon!
can you undo the changes introduced by the new function asap? If that does not happen in the next 2 hours, I will use a copy of the diagram into power point and never use Miro again.

I have the same error and can’t open a ticket for support, can you help me @Eca ?
I am never using this thing again. Missed my deadline… BIG THANKS!
Same has happened to me MIRO team - what is the fix? @Eca Even when looking at history of the board, many of the images and work is gone!
Can you recover our boards and lost flows/diagrams? Similar to everyone above I have lost alot of my work and need it ASAP!
@Eca Unfortunately we have the same problem with out board. Would you be so kind and also open a support ticket for us?
Hello!
I've just got the same problem... My teammate pressed some button so the frame went had turned into a diagram with no possible way of changing it back... What should I do to prevent such in the future and get my finished frame back?
Cab you be so kind to help me with this, please?..
Hello everyone. The issue here appears to be with frames being inside the Diagram format, and how they are taking on a higher layer.
To fix:
1. Select everything by clicking and daggimg around the entire Diagram format
2. Filter to select all of the frames
3. Send them to back
Demo:
@plniiq In this post, I talk about what happened to your board. Once you send the frame to the back, you could then do a "precision" select to select thr frame and all content inside of it and then drag them out (precision select is when you hold down the left mouse button until it turns into croasshairs - then drag around thr frame to select it and therefore everything in it, but NOT the Diagram format. Next, drag out the frame.
I can demo this right now as I'm writing this from my phone.

This is not working, not completely at least for me. Once I dragged them out some of the charts are “linked” and this is creating more issues than benefit
@Andrea Redaelli I'll take a closer look once I'm back on my computer.
To confirm: You (seemingly) simply want the Diagram format to be gone, and your framed objects to be visible again?

yes, it was a frame before. Then somehow it turned to a diagram (I’m not excluding by my misclick) and this has hidden some information, some others are linked to the diagram, some of charts are shifted to left, some are gone on the back side.
Yeah this is happening to me as well. Miro is unusable for me right now.
@Robert Johnson your instructions and video helped me to get some content back, but it doesn’t work for everything. It worked for one on my frames, the one at the bottom left. But not completely. Some of the content appeared but some didn’t, then I tried to click on the elements that still were empty and clicked on “send to back” and the content appeared. So far, so good.
But then when I tried the same thing on another frame it didn’t work, all the content that was in it was sent to back, and I can’t see any content in the frame any more.
The good thing is that the content seems to be there and hasn’t dissapeared but it´s not showing up properly.
I really need to get rid of the Diagram functionality that is still active on the board and get back to the canvas mode. But I don’t know how.

Without seeing exactly what you are working with now/trying to do, hopefully this will help.
If not, hopefully the support team can get this back to the previous state.
Removing everything from a diagram format
Resize to fit diagram format, to make sure you know where all all content ends.
Then, make the diagram format a little larger than content.
Now we want to select everything in the diagram format (except the format itself) and drag it out…
Click-and-hold to get into precision select mode (the cursor will turn into a crosshair).
Select all content, but not the diagram format.
Click and drag-it-out of diagram format.
If you still have frames overtop of other objects: Select frames and send to back

Thank you! It helped me to get everything back. I selected all the objects and clicked "set to frame" under the three dots, saving my work! Hope everyone made it through as well...
@Robert Johnson I have gotten help from the Miro support to restore an older version of my board before I used the diagram function. But I wanted to try your solution and instructions and see if it works if it should happen again. It seems to work but what about frames that are locked? They seems to be left behind the diagram.

That is expected. Everything would need to be unlocked first, so it could be selected for moving out of the diagram.
@Robert Johnson Yes but how do I unlock them? I can’t get hold of that function to ulock them. Nothing happens when I click on the locked frames. I think I can get all content out and I can recreat the frames later that are locked. But I’m not shore, I have so much content inside the diagram so it’s hard to overview and I don´t remember each an everything. So I donät lose anything important.
@kurreburre You could try putting your cursor over the border of the frame (zoom way in if you have to) and right-clicking to expose the context menu.
If that doesn't work, you'll likely need to unlock everything on the board by right-clicking on a an empty spot on the board and selecting Unlock all.
@Robert Johnson Clicking outside everythin and then Unlock all seamed to work. I think I have recovered all conten but the frames and content is in quite a mess.
Thanks so much for your help!
