Hallo.

Ich würde gerne ein öffentliches Template erstellen. Möglichst auf Deutsch. Nicht im Miroverse. Könntet Ihr mir helfen? Ich finde es nicht.

Dankeschön 😘

Stephanie

@Stephanie Kohlsaat - This easiest way to do this would be to:

  1. Create your template on a Miro board
  2. Set the Visitors access to “Anyone with the link → Can view”:
    public_sharing.gif
  3. If no a paid or Education Plan, set the board’s content copy permissions to “Anyone with the board access”
    .gif
  4. Share/post a link to the board and instruct the users to open it, click on the board title, and use the Duplicate button.

You can try the copy experience by opening this board (that is posted in the Miroverse) and duplicating/copying it to your account → https://miro.com/app/board/uXjVOMO0-Bk=/

When I do it like recommended, I have to rely on, that the users make a Duplikat. I do not believe in it. Because lots of people do not read properly and do not have fun to make too many clicks.

So, the users probably will modify the template. 😔

Didn’t get it 😢

Another option is to use the “copyBoardId” ULR parameter. You can read more about this here:

If the permissions are set appropriately, users will not be able to modify your template. For example, you can view and duplicate this board, but you cannot modify it: https://miro.com/app/board/o9J_lCxo-es=/
