Good afternoon! I lost my interactive board during class yesterday, then I opened the main screen and I don't have any Miro boards. As I suppose, apparently I was attached to the team of my university, but I do not know who its admin is, and I did not even know that I was on the team. Maybe I was expelled or the team was deleted altogether. Now I don't have any boards made earlier. Can you tell me what to do? How can I restore the boards? Is it possible to do this without a team admin, or how do I find out the admin's name or email? I really need these boards, I'm sad that I didn't know that I was on some kind of team and I really need my boards.

Hi @julblessk,

Losing access to your boards can be stressful, especially if they’re critical to your classwork.

If you were part of your university's team and it was deleted or you were removed, your access to the boards associated with that team would also be removed. Boards in Miro are often tied to specific teams, so if you’re no longer part of the team, you’ll lose access to those boards.

To recover:

  1. Check Your Email for Team Invitations. Look for any previous invitations or notifications from Miro about your team. This might give you clues about the team name or admin.

  2. Reach out to your university’s IT department or professor who may have set up the Miro team. They might know the admin and can help you regain access.

  3.

If you’re unable to identify the team or admin, Miro Support may be able to assist. When submitting a request, provide as much detail as possible (e.g., email address associated with your account, team name, board titles, etc.).
