Is it possible on Consultant Plan to invite guests for boards when they already operate on a Free plan?

I'm looking for the best suitable plan for our company. We often work together with external partners who already use Miro (Free plan). And we want to invite them as guests to our boards to edit and contribute. Some external partners need acces to multiple boards for a period of time.

Was it helpful?

You can definitely do so, either adding them as paid users to a team under the Consultant plan or by using the Visitor access method which is free (https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012524559-Collaboration-with-visitors). We use the latter method with all of our clients, some of whom are Miro users on either free or paid plans.

@Kiron Bondale Thank you for your response. I'm a little confused about the difference between Visitors and Guests(BETA)

“For external & occasional collaboration, please use guests” https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021415119-Collaboration-with-guests-BETA-

Because if we make the boards publicly all the Visitors can either edit- or only view the board, and we would like to have both options on different clients.

In that case, I’d definitely suggest using the Guests functionality rather than the Visitor one as the latter opens up access to anyone with the board URL at the same level of privilege.
