Is it mandatory to upgrade for a minimum of 2 members

I’m thinking of upgrade to starter plan, but even I create a new paid team in which I’m the only user, the minimum member available is 2.

I only want to pay for myself, and there’s no other member. Is there a way to adjust member while upgrading?

Miro solo users, be aware:

Miro Support confirmed to me in writing that Starter now requires 2 paid licenses even if you only need ONE user.

No 1-seat option.
No grandfathering.
No exception.

So for me, the minimum cost of keeping the same Starter service has effectively DOUBLED = 100% more for no additional value.

Their answer: pay for an unused second seat or downgrade to Free.

Existing and potential customers deserve to know this.

      Is there a way to adjust member while upgrading?

      As of my reply, unfortunately, there is not. Miro recently decided to apply a two-seat minimum on both the Starter and Business plans, as shown on the Plans and features available page:
