This may be a Wish List item but surely this has come up before - I can zoom to a selected item using Alt-2, but is it possible to zoom back out just as quickly?

Ideally hitting Alt-2 would toggle it back to the previous zoom level, but I can’t find any way to do that and have to resort to using the mouse wheel which is slow and tedious.

Using Alt-1 isn’t an option either as it loses the current position and forces more mouse wheeling as well as panning.

Hi @Gennadiy,

Thanks for your explanation of the issue! To help us better understand your concern and explore possible workarounds, could you please provide the following information:

  1. A short video or GIF demonstrating the issue you're experiencing when toggling zoom or adjusting the zoom level.
  2. The device and operating system you're using (e.g., Windows 11, macOS).
  3. Any additional details, such as whether you're using the desktop app, browser, or mobile version of Miro.
  4. Is this happening on other boards as well?

This information will help us assess your request more thoroughly and determine if it's a usability gap or a potential feature enhancement.

Looking forward to your response!

All I can do is make another attempt at explaining this simple question: I navigate my board, click on an item, press Alt-2, it zooms in on the item, I now want to press Alt-anythingelse to undo the effect of Alt-2.  If there’s no such shortcut I’d appreciate it if you add this feature, which should be trivial to implement.

Hi @Gennadiy,

The reason I asked for the information above is so I can replicate the issue on my end and explore potential solutions. While we investigate, I recommend trying the basic troubleshooting steps:

  • clearing your cache
  • updating your app/browser
  • or testing on a different device

If the issue persists despite these steps, I encourage you to contact Miro Support directly for further assistance. They can take a deeper dive into your specific setup to help resolve this.

Let me know if you need guidance with any of the troubleshooting steps or have additional details to share!
